Hi buddy the non ceramic planet ocean is a great rep for modding like others have said. I bought mine and managed to find pretty much all second hand gen parts and made a cracking franken which I ended up loving so much I went and bought a gen. I made a few threads of every mod I done which all should be in my signature.have a look mate and see what you think. I'm no watch modder/pro but managed all the mods myself with the help of all the great info and members on Rwg. Good luck

Cheers for the advice guys, I can swap the crown/stem no problem, had quite a few watches apart. Would anyone know which crown would fit the threads on the tube ? Would it have to be a milguass crown as haven't seen any for sale. If anyone had a spare rep crown that would be great

Hi all a my friend has a milguass with eta movement but the crown has snapped off the stem and the crown won't thread back onto the tube? without taking it apart would anyone know if these tubes unscrew? Looks like the threads are stripped. Also if anyone has a spare tube, crown and stem for one of these that would be a great help. It's an eta 2836 if I recall.
Here's a couple of pictures .
Cheers in advance

Go for a gen if you can afford it, I've had a few real nice franken subs, tc bk ect which have all been super reps but nothing compares to a gen, I always choose the gen from the box over a rep which makes my frankens redundant......I would say tc and bk subs are so close to gen its unreal.
