    Thanks, yeap a few mods.
HR dial and mixed handset relumed and aged slightly. Crownartcustoms bezel insert. ETA 2846 movement. A little case shaping, drilled lugs to accept 2mm spring bars. Athaya 702 crown and tube. Plus, a GS T19 Crystal.

Did you have to retap the case for the Athaya 702 tube?

  2. anyone? Bueller?

Looks to be a rep Zenith Daytona 16520. Without knowing subdial function, I can only take blind swings at the movement. Probably a 7750 clone at best? Not really sure what movements were hot on the market in 1997.

    That's the best I've got.

  3. Cheers mate. Will do.

It's like your repeating posts are some sort of metaphor for reps and versions :pimp:

  4. Are you referring to the location of the click spring on the retaining ring?? Seriously?

If I had a nickel for every time someone called me out for the slightly skewed and completely obscured location of my bezel click spring... I'd have zero nickels.

  5. Liking mine. When I get home, add 580s & do the TC clasp thing and a Clark and leave it. Maybe the insert.

By the way, not waterproof at all. Not even slightly, mine picked up moisture from the nato. So check your gaskets.

Very good to know. They were sitting around for a while so it makes sense
