I do not notice that and to be honest I do not know if it's incorrect. The gen 42 seems to me that do also have a correct hand size.
This is a gen:
And this is a 42 rep:

Hi,
yesterday it was like a christmas day to me, because I received my first new rep, a 42 Omega Seamaster CrPO, that I bought in TrustyTime/Andrew.
The watch it's in fact a very god rep, do not know if it's super rep, but for me it is!! :-) Can't find major flaws, and the looking and feeling it's really like a gen one.
Now some photos (in a gen case from my other Seamaster - just for a better looking )
There is one thing that I need to resolve, the crystal sealant it's misaligned, and it's visible between 9h and 13h. For me I don't consider it a flaw.
The crown and the HE valve are just like the gen one in the look, however I do not like the feeling when I operate with it. It's something wrong with it.
The pearl it's a good pearl, considering the other versions of the rep PO's that I saw here, however when I touch it, the feeling it's very "rude":
The bracelet it's perfect!! Great building quality, very solid and the satin finish it's really spot on:
What I do not like is the movement. The balance it's very well made, but everything else it's very poor. I wish they have a closed version or the metal parts (chassis, etc) with a brushed finish just to give a better look:
And now my gen Seamaster that I bought new many years ago. On this case, it's the midsize version. I just love it!!! :-)
I need to send it to Omega to made a restoration and service.Really hope that Omega give a new look in the bracelet
Side-by-side of course the size difference it's very visible:
The lume, it's almost the same in the rep and the gen:
And now in the wrist:
I've got a 6,5 inches wrist (17.5cm), and I was concern about it. I do not like big watches, but this 42mm it's the perfect size!! :-)And now, just to close this post, my other Omega. It's a rep that I bought in second hand, but it have many problems... Just hate the yellow crystal, and....it's not working... :p It's a future project. ;-)
However, it's a beautiful OmegaAnd that's all.
My best regards,

Oh, now I understand what you mean. :-) Yeap, after read your opinion I'm going for the Hirsch clasp. It's not Omega, but it also have a great look. :-)
Thank you again. ;-)
My best regards,
-
Thank Supermax. What do you mean with the "fixed keeper"? It's the fact of be with curved ends? If yes, I prefer curved ends.
About the other 3 concerns that you have alert me, in that case I will not go for the Omega clasp, in that case I will go for Hirsch butterfly clasp, this one
About the bracelet width, can someone confirm me what is?
My best regards,
-
Thanks for the reply.
About the centered issue, I think that it not an issue. I've got a gen Seamaster and the pearl it's also "seated" on the lower base of the triangle. OK, on a gen CrPO the pearl it's in the center of the triangle, but at 1:1 it's not perceptible (I suppose). My best regards,

Hi,
how do you reseated the pearl?
My best regards,

Witch one and in what store? :-)
It will go fine, you will see. ;-)
My best regards,
-
In my case (I did not receive it yet) it was also paypal from other store. However, in my case it was a store that do not have nothing about watchs. :-)
If I where you CrPO look a very good option. :-)
My best regards,
-
Hi,
did not received my CrPO and I'm already planning mods.
Can someone with a 42mm CrPO tell me (and confirm) the size of the bracelet?
What do you think about this mod on a black/silver CrPO, this black bracelet:
With this clasp:
I think that it will be soooooo cool!!! :D
I want do made an order for the strap, but I need to be sure about the width. My best regards,
-
I think it this: 135.0010 - Caliber 601 (or 611?), it's a 66 De Ville.
Do you have photos from the back?My best regards,
-
Yeap, yes it is. :-)
My best regards,
-
For what e-mail did you contact Andrew? Beware, there are some scam websites (they use the same name) that try to be the real TrustyTime.
This is the correct one: www.ttw168.com
About the watch, it's not new, it's in fact "old". ;-) Take a look (it's no the GMT, but it will give you an idea): http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/4509-complete-omega-seamaster-bond-moddingadjustment-guide/My best regards,
