  1. I have two Spin Daytonas and they both have chrono issues. Ironically stock DW are fine.. Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  2. I think the flag print is not right, it should be kissing the right subdial with no white/cream spaces.. Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  3. Looks like a prototype has been done Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  4. Should be be hard for the factory to copy, although is slightly bigger case I think they semi perfected the current normal Pelagos. Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  5. Looks awful Bart [emoji7] Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  6. What happened at 4 o'clock? Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  7. Yes and no, there are a lot of franken around and if you add to the complications of different marks etc you actually don't have a lot to pick. E.g. Mark 1 pushers with Mark 1 bezel is gonna cost you a bit and we haven't even discuss the dial. Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  8. Yeap! They have been on sale and off for the whole yr. I once asked to see a 5513 PCG, I got quoted 32k. The case was polished etc. Worse of all, they don't even lend you a loupe in the shop. Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  9. Congrats part, the lug holes seems a bit big (maybe the angle) and the hole opening seems to have some metal residue from drilling. The chamfering seem pretty good but I thought is a bit more wider towards the end so u can actually see it on parts eye view - maybe I am wrong but looks great. How did he do the bezel? Was it nickel or he some how made in gold ish colour? Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  10. This should be quite easy to make, there are no markers and studs on the side, the only challenge is the sunburst and the right colour dial. I can possibly ask dad to see if he can get it done in Vietnam Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  11. Back then these references don't worth much, a lot of watch makers can be rough with them. For example, NOS Milsub dials are worth £50 around 30 yrs ago! Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  12. I can't tell if it's gen, but a 200 gen bezel doesn't come cheap. Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  13. Congrats for the pickup mate! Here are mine saying hi to yours ;-) Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  14. Another thought will be a Daytona but looking at their past 2 models their edge/difference is reverse relief gilt dial. Unless they wanna do one for a Daytona of which is not true to historical reference, Daytona might not be on the card. Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  15. What about a GMT inspired from a 6542? Custom bakelite insert, with their coin edged bezel, gilt dial, with the CG removed and the lugs reshaped. Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  16. Are you going to make the middle red bleeds slightly onto the white? Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  17. Is it me or the two white stripes in the middle are slightly narrower than the coloured ones? Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  18. Yeah and the CG, I was gonna ask which factory cos it looks way too gen. Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  19. Does the PR work? Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  20. Funny the ad says 1680??? Thanks for the info above Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  21. Are you getting mods done? I'm not sure what is the "teaser"? Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  22. Well done! Plan to put a bakelite on it? Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  23. Great build, but just wondering is it me or the rehault looks a bit too deep? Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  24. Both my albino and 6239 has sunburst. Is pretty awesome Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
  25. A lot of "prototypes" are created, especially the RPR guys are great with them. Just search for the PanAm Daytona.. Also the above build should be possible, as mentioned above 1680 comes in gold (nipple dial). If you don't care about the engraving which will say 1680,all the modder needs to do is fit a 5513 dial and a 1520 or 1530? The case should take it. But is a bit silly when a 5513 is worth less than a gold 1680,but again is fun I suppose. Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
