  1. I try to stay away from the 7750. Among the movement we have in reps, 7750 is the least reliable. However some watches esp chrono model are available with 7750 only so you dont really have a choice if you want them. Avoid changing date/day manually during 2100 - 0300.

  2. You are probably confused, ETA as a company, which produce both mechanical and quartz movements.

If its a quartz, its probably going to tick. There are some quartz movement which doesnt tick but they are rare and the usage in reps are even rarer.

I was looking for a Rolex Cellini and found a good looking one at Watcheden.

The movement is a "Swiss ETA Quartz" and I was wondering if that would mean that it's a "tick tack" movement (standard quartz) that would be an obvious fake on Rolex, or is it a sweeping (almost stepless) movement like ETA?

Have been google it and Youtube'n it but cant find an answer to my question.

Maybe you gent and ladies could help?

  3. The other thing I read was that ZF-Factory as such does not exist but its an agglomerate of individual small producers just called ZF-factory for convenience.

AFAIK, that is nothing special. ZF is a factory/group of people who assemble the parts ordered from various build-to-order suppliers. Noob, H-fact, BP etc are all operating similarly at different scales.
