Yeah... I don't know... It looks like a younger man's watch. Maybe I'm wrong, but I only see it on younger people (well, seen it twice, both times on younger people LOL )
I've read your Ingy rep-gen write-up, and the regular Ingy does look great (thanks for that, by the way). But I wanted a bit more and a Choro or even PR versions look fantastic.
right... seconds@6. damn. It can be serviced to work better, though, can't it? In any case it's probably not for me, since I still need to build my 3714 with the serviced movement...
I feel that 3717 is not for me. I think I'm too old for it, unfortunately...
Thanks for the info and the warning, Andy
I'm looking for an accurate gen and I know that the regular Ingy is great, but how are chrono and PR? Anyone still has them?
Would you recommend the Titanium version, guys?
LOL!!!
by the way WetWork those Norwegian third world residents were attending operas, playing classical music, while you were scalped by the red skins and chewed on tobacco and today enjoy being the second highest GDP per-capita in the world, while wall street is "occupied" by crackhead bums.
(damn I hope you are American, or else I sound like a pr!ck )
PS This thread cracks me up. There is nothing like a good humorous bashing between friends, right?. Keep it up boys!
But I do understand what sgtguk means. From the UX point of view the links are hidden and inaccessible for new members. It took me a week to discover those myself.
Actually, yes. This issue has a potential to drive me crazy. Not because it's a tell, but because it's off-center.
27$ fix? i'm not sure you can get a gen incert taht cheap, can you?
The best options by far. I'd go withSenator Sixties, because imho nothing beats a handwind watch when it comes to dress watches. There's something nice about having to stop and wind the watch right before you go out. Calms you down and gives you a minute to think.
Hands and dial? How about that pearl? Apart of it being the biggest tell on these reps, I just can't look at it being off-center like that. Actually this is the reason I haven't got myself a PO until now.
EDIT: @wagneralbert Watch looks great though, congrats and wear it well.
`yeah... love it. It's such a machine. I really like rectangular watches. I started a thread about them a few days ago, but people don't seem to care much about rectagulars for some reason. Personally I believe that any balanced collection should have one, but it doesn't seem to be common.
I'd love to see the DaVinci being repped someday, until then I'll go this that Oris I meantioned.
1. Franken IWC Portuguese 3714-38 - as my new long term project
2. Omega PO 42 - because I need one bulky watch
3. Pam 029M - which will not last long, but I need to see what the fuss is all about.
4. Gen Oris Titan - it was stupid of me to sell it in the first place
5. IWC DaVinci Ceramic -zero chance of it to be repped though
