  1. I have been out for a while and have an old UPO where the crown screw has striped and no longer screws in.  I was wondering if our valued rep dealers have fixed that problem?  If someone could let me know I would appreciate it.

    Thanks!

  2. Probably better off posting this in the Wanted section, and keeping an eye on the parts sales area. What you will need is the Ultimate hour hand, all the rest of the DSN hands are pretty much the same as the other Ultimate versions. No dealer sells the hand separately so you'll have to hope a member sells a set ....

    Thanks!

  3. I bought this watch when it first came out because of all the great reviews. However I never wear it. Its huge, very heavy on the wrist and I just have too many others that I prefer to wear. So....it just sits.

I will be happy to trade for somthing, i have a few i could trade off. Please PM me if you are interested.

  4. I am on the brink of making my next DSN purchase. Can anyone share a good picture of the date font. I have seen a lot of gens and am concerned about the size, and the crispness of the dates. Thanks in advance. BTW I have done a search, and still need more.

I just recieved the 088 from him and compared it to a friends gen and its very good. The font on the date is the correct size but is al little dull compared to the gen, its not quite as bright. The mag is the correct size. The hands are still a little thin but not very noticable. Hope this helps, dont really know how to use the camera yet, wife needs to teach me, sorry.

  5. Maybe it lacks a small pin+spring ensemble that should stay below the bezel, in a small hole of the case.

You should try removing the bezel and check. Be cautious: if the pin and spring are there, the spring uses to throw the pin into 4th dimension as soon as you remove the bezel.

To remove the bezel, a watchsmith knife is the best tool in my experience*. Place its edge between the bezel and case, and make lever action. At least, this works on Omega bezels.

    *Too thin blades will chip.

    THANKS!

  6. I have had a 45mm UPO from Josh for about a month and dont have the problem yet, but now I am more interested in a 42.5 mm and like the one I saw on Ruby's site. This is why I originally started this post, to see if anyone has had experience with her Planet Ocean's. Does anyone know if the 42.5mm's have the same issues of the crown stripping. Thanks.
