  1. I am planning to buy a vintage tudor movement 2483 being sold to me.. would like to know how difficult it is to find hands and stem that would fit..

Another thought, would it also fit a cartel case? Really need to know before taking the plunge, any info is much appreciated please

    Cheers.

  2. Thanks gents!

I actually already bought a yuki.. what bothers me with the yuki is the "triangle" size index at 12oclock.. its too small, same as the triangle index used on the snowflake dial

7016/7928 dials have a longer and slimmer triangle, slimmer 3-6-9 indeces as well..

  3. Reviving thread.. Any suggestions on where to buy 1.25mm drill bit? The existing hole in my case is I think 1.2mm but the spring bar head doesnt stick out (i got it mod by someone and he said he used a 1.2mm mill) i want to have the spring bar kind of visible.. Is it possible to open the hole manually by hand? Any leads to where I can purchase 1.25mm bit would be appreciated.

    cheers

In case anyone else wants to know, the neck size is around 28.1 so I think you can buy a proper bezel assembly.

So it's ironic.    119 for a great case and bracelet, but you need to spend around 140 for aftermarket bezel assembly ( all 4 pieces).

Glue failed my insert within weeks but a great case otherwise.

Is it difficult to manufacture the correct bezels?

Is the aftermarket assembly you are saying is plug n play? Or mods need to be done? Thanks!

  5. hi guys, happy holidays

here goes, im no expert in watch movements or tinkering with it so i need your help.

I have a jmb 1016 and im planning to replace the movement because its running funny and stressing me out. I think its an asian 2824 with hacking. The problem is while wearing the watch and moving the wrist the movement stops then moves again if its shaken a bit. Causing the time to be late. Where in if its fully charged and left on the table it keeps accurate time.

so now i dont know the best solution, either change the movement to a better one or get it repaired? What is your best choice for a robust movement for this build?

    appreciate your help guys

PS: any trusty watch repair guys in aussie you can recommend? Im living in NZ and its hard to find good watchmakers here.

  6. Great review! Thanks a lot!

A bit off topic, sorry to invade OP, got this clasp lock at an old watch repair shop.. He sold it to me for $20.. Really have no idea if its gen or not.. I only based my guts on the quality of the big crown.. Anyone can shed some opinion if its gen or not?

  7. Noob alert question...

Just curious, so if i have a JMB enhanced case and eventually want to put a gen 1520 movement it wouldnt fit? Or a ton of work will need to be done to make the movement fit?

Again apologies for the noob question
