Hi guys,
Not really a replica question but anyway:
Sometime ago I stumbled upon a watch brand that looked rather interesting but at the time I did need a new watch. Now I am considering an addition to my collection but cannot find any links to that brand. The only thing I remember is that the watches had a crown guard a bit similar to Panerai although more advanced and the brand was established by a guy who was apparently originally a replica watchmaker but later set up his own brand. Does it rings the bell for anyone?
Cheers,
D

Hi guys,
Yesterday I managed to loose a bar from my DSN Radiomir 183H. Any idea where I can source a replacement? Could not find anything on trusted dealers websites, found a set on ebay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-SET-PAM-BAR-SCREW-CONNECTOR-FOR-PANERAI-RADIOMIR-WATCH-/310407910594?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4845c0d4c2) but consider paying $60 for minor parts for a watch that originally cost me about $250 to be a bit excessive.
Cheers

It seems like there are a bunch of reviews and tutorials there which are not available here. That is why I am trying to get the access.

Ok, still no luck with registration. Tried PMing onzenuub but have not heard anything back. Can someone help? Thanks.

It is an interesting thread, actually. Now I know what incabloc is :-)
But after reading this topic I realised that I need to dig deeper into differences between various movement types. I wonder if someone could point me to a decent source of information that gives an overview or comparision between let's say, Chinese 6497, same but platinum plated, ETA and higher ETA grades? Something that even a noob can understand? The reason for asking is that I am considering ordering a watch (the one after next) with a bit more sophisticated movement and need to decide which one to choose.

Thanks... The next question is going to be "Who is a memeber here and on repgeek.com who can help me?" :-)

Guys,
I've been trying to register on replicageek twice without success. Basically, I can go through registration forms but activation email never comes up in my mailbox. Is there still a way to do it or registration is simply not possible? I am using a hotmail address, can this be a problem? I am pretty sure it is not an issue of the activation email being filtered to junk folder as I check my junk folder regularly.

Gents,
Taking in account that my recently bought DSN's PAM111 is a beginning of a collection, now I am considering buying a watch box. I went through the dealers section on RWG but could not choose one. I wonder if someone could recommend me a watch box for 3-5 watches that costs reasonable and has reasonable quality (e.g., does not smell like a chemical factory, looks nice etc)?

Gents,
Finally, got my PAM 111M from DSN. This is my first PAM watch and I have to say that the watch actually exceeded all my expectations. Excellent quality, everything looks very solid etc. Communication with DSN was easy, no issues whatsoever: his responces were prompt with sufficient details. Delivery from Hong Kong took just ten days (he had to send it with registered mail as EMS could not deliver to a PO Box. So, highly recommend. Below are some pics.

Looks great indeed! I wonder how is movement decoration? Is it engraved? I tried to get one from DSN around XMas but he was out of stock till Feb at least. Who did you get it from?

No, not Parnis. Parnis is more like a homage brand. The one I am referring to had crown guard that was different from Panerai: sort of a two position crown guard. My understanding was that depending on how you open the guard you could either switch the movement to winding position or to time change.
