  1. Thanks Mike I'll get in touch with them. I have a black leather with orange stitching strap from a Chris Ward Trident sokko that unfortunately doesn't quite fit with the curved fitting end, it would have been perfect on it. Omega want £500+ for an alligator strap and clasp
  2. Hi, My fiancé surprised me this week with a PO chrono as an engagement gift, needless to say I am delighted. I have been trying to source alternative straps for it, and I'm struggling to find the orange rubber one in stock in the UK, let alone EU. What other straps would you recommend? Thanks S
  3. Thanks Mike, I noticed the "who has the best" questions, the hundreds of them. A good forum
  4. Hello All, I signed up this month, and have enjoyed taking a look around. I was curious about the accuracy of Submariners replica's, so found the board through a google search. I wear a genuine Tag Aquaracer WAB2011 as a work watch, and have been looking at purchasing a genuine Rolex Submariner. After a bit of thought and deciding I'd best check all my options, before blowing a bonus on a gen, I ended up here. The Tag takes a bit of punishment so is it really worth buying a gen to get marked. The reviews are great, it's just a pity buying to the UK is a slow process. It's been interesting so far, great board. Steve
  5. Just crop them plenty of clean pixels to crop to 100%
  6. It's sharp when stopped down from f5.6 up, and you can crop in nicely. The sensor is the same as that in the Olympus E30, a cracker. You really can't go wrong. The only down side to Olympus four thirds and mFT is the cost of lenses. On lenses, in still using an old 50mm f3.5 OM oly macro lens on the cannon kit, the optics rarely change, so using old glass with an adaptor ring is a fun alternative to new glass.
  7. I recently upgraded to Cannon 5D Mk 2's and L Glass, but shot with Olympus for the last 6 years. One of them was an EP-1 and EPL-1. Superb cameras, the architecture is as good as the full Boddied E models, with Didgic processors. The kit 14-42mm lens is good, and the 1/2 HD video mode is handy. I kept my EPL1 for when lugging my new kit about isn't viable, and it doesn't disappoint. Very good purchase
