Most of the LWO283 (ETA 2892 base) Movement has White background datewheel, and the fonts is quite off if compare with GEN AP, I changed a better datewheel and did a "Tiny" Aged treatment.

I saw some franken AP project has Double AR cyclops installed on LWO283 + DD module, but there is still a bit reflection on the Date position, I found that the GEN AP Datewindow is not Glossy , so I dismount the date window and make it brush finish, the purpose is reduce the cyclops reflection.

First, Domi Help me Boot up the Old movement, This LWO283 came from a old Tag Heuer watch , He did his magic to help my movement reborn



The Rep case is very nice quality even compare with Gen, Thinner the caseback like gen , Change the Crown position, Domi done a flawless work since the rep Tachymeter ring is taller than gen, Domi thinner the rubber ring and now there is No gap between crystal and Tachymeter ring, This is exactly like gen now



The Rep Sapphire Crystal is good, but I like Totally Clear, so I swap my AR Crystal It's almost invisible

I have Gen Black theme Rubberclad dial set and white theme dial set, I noticed the AP Rubberclad Black theme has Black date window, so Black PVD treatment for my brush finished date window.

Double AR cyclops + Black Side , This cyclops is much better than the Noob Factory latest one, I have compare with my GEN AP, this cyclops quality almost 90% like Gen.

This is the latest version, AP have changed some minor detail...

The " AP" Logo is not printed anymore, it's a metal part , look very shiny.

They have changed the fonts on sub dial, see the fonts is not same with previous version, and also the New case back " Royal Oak Offshore", the "O" is different shape now.

I just bought a V3 Noob 111 and the the latest version 005 H Factory.

I'm quite impressed about the Noob V3 111 Crystal had improved so much imho, the colorless and AR is very good even compare to Gen.

yes sure. but the problem is hard to source so many 2892 movement , so quantity of the dial is not enough to produce. thats the problem.

yes true. unless to make a new rep dial for this movement , otherwise it still has little space of DW.

Final mods

1) installed LWO283 Movement

2) Matted sub dial , looks closer to Gen

3) Double AR-coated cyclops (not noob cyclops)

4) Silver plating on middle gear of movement.

5) Apbands strap

6) The Rep screws on bezel is too light silver and looklike plastic, it's very obvious flaws if compare with gen, So I bought another set screws and do a new plating as Gen.

updated pictures, I'm still checking the Best plating company to do the perfect color coating on middle part, This dial is Thicken than the noob dial, so don't need add the metal plate underneath.

As many of you may know I'm producing a Correct REP dial for AP GP, I have been told noob factory couldn't make the rep dial to be perfect, I was so confusing why they can't make it correctly as just update some minor flaws, So I was planning to produce this by myself, I found a dial factory which is reputable and good craftsmanship, they can use a better mold to make this dial, able to fix the hatch marks problem of noob dial and all the sub dial flaws, so the other problem is the middle part of the coating, noob factory just use the epoxy on the middle part, but the Gen one is using matt metallic coating , I found a good plating factory and they have that color which close to the GEN dial. The rep GP Full carbon version Gold Tachymetre ring is incorrect color, the rep one is light gold coating, the Gen one is more dark gold color, that's not the normal plating color so most of the plating factory told me they can't make it accurate to the gen color, I found another plating company can make the plating color like that, in Chinese it call " color plating" and I hope it will get good result. I also will make this Tachymetre ring if the color is accurate.

The project is now beginning and the factory already give me the Computer draft picture, the first dial sample will be finished very soon when I have confirmed the coating color.

1) fixed the wrong sub dial color of noob dial.

2) fixed wrong fonts in the sub dial.

3) fixed the hatch marks close to the 9 o' clock subdial. On the rep the hatch marks have a circular cut-out near the subdial but this is not present on the gen.

4) The Rep sub dial outer ring is too fat compare with Gen, the Gen one should be thinner.

5) will be use the correct Matt metallic coating of the middle part, Matt Blue and Matt Red, The gen one is shiny in some angle but actually it's matt metallic color.

6) correct the "SWISS MADE" fonts.

Nice! Where did you source the movement?

It doesn't need the new carbon case imho, just use the current REP ss case and it can be done, now my forged carbon effect is under the waterproof experiment , it has been 5 days already and the result is satisfied. I just ordered a new material to mix this carbon solution to be perfect, I think it will be all done within a month.

and about the dial, that's impossible to reapaint the dial because the red part should be metallic red plated. not painted. and the platinum also not blue painted, should be metallic blue plated for that part. So I'm thinking to produce a new correct dial about this, hopefully it can be success.

The pusher guards of my GP is incorrect color, the Gen one should be titanium, but it's easy fixed, I will do the new titanium plating on that later.

Not quite sure if these mods are done with a complete new case in carbon-mix or was the finish modded....the ss surface was re-done better to fake the carbon???

I tried to turn the lighting darker to show the texture, and If you have seen the GEN watch in your real life, you can see the visibility of Forged Carbon texture is depends on the lighting.
