  1. Darren-

Normally you assemble the parts and then go to a modder who does whatever work you want. I am not aware of any one who both sources parts and then mods the watch. Once you have the parts there are a number of folks who will do the work.

Many thanks for your kind reply. I thought most of the modders have their suppliers for parts. :-)

  2. You will need to source the swiss movements from the myriad of places that sell them... Ofrei, bay, T, etc etc but if you want a rep then that will need more sourcing for correct plates etc

Only 26 (A or B ) dial will be DSN but its crap

CB needs to come from Jakob he does custom CBs or find one of ELs nice and heavy CB on the B... that way you can try for a transitional :)

But you will struggl with a decent rep dial mate

Hi PeteM, many thanks for your advice. Looks like i would need to do more searching for the parts :-)

  3. When I questioned him about the hands, he said his thumb must have been blocking them???? what a joke!!!

  4. Hi baldballs, do you mind sharing some pictures of your 243 on this forum :-)

I got a Noob from PT. I waited for a while to recieve (ordered around CNY) Recieved mine several weeks ago. Have changed the straps multiple times. Was looking at GENS of this b4 hand and I have been daily'ng this watch for the past couple weeks. I have GEN Pam's and Breitlings and this feels very GEN like.
  5. many thanks for your kind replies, maybe i should wait a little longer to see which makers produce the best version of 243 before pulling the trigger :-)

Hi Chris, thanks for the picture. Great wrist shot. Cheers

    Hi,

I just received my h factory 243. Both have flaws but I am very happy with mine. You have to make your own decision. I only missed the strap change tool the noob offers. ;)

    Cheers,

    Chris
