you would think the TD might have said something, or do they not even lift the lever?... Anyways, am resigned to live with it as there seems to be no easy solution. I agree that the CG looks absolutely fine, including the ball bearing on it - I did notice that the crown does sit against the case more than in my other two watches when I lift the lever - so that's that.

    Too bad. :(

  2. Hello experts,

I just received the 111 v4 that I purchased form Toro Bravo 3 weeks ago. The watch is stunningly beautiful, and looks go (I can't compare to v3 as I have not held one); however, the lever on the crown guard does not lock at all, and opens and closes freely. I can imagine that people have experienced this sort of imperfection before, so here it goes - is that any kind of relatively easy fix for this?

Photos will of course follow through shortly...

  3. Just thought I'd put the question out there; I am having a lot of trouble communicating re. my latest purchase, and wondered who really is the best to go (I know, I know, a question I should have asked earlier!)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  4. And so it happened... on a cold day on February 6th of 2012, and after much reading online (thank GOD i found this community!!!), I took a leap of faith and ordered a PAM 029 from Joshua. At first I was very, very nervous - everything seemed a little dangerous: from finding the right vendor (thank you rwg), to distinguishing the right website from its clones (thank you rwg), paying for what looked like an order of straps in another website (thank you rwg), to ordering for delivery in a country like Italy, where shady laws and a dubious postal system make rep buying extra risky (thank you Joshua!)... But 21 days later it arrives!

I know nothing of watches or of their replicas, but I will say this: this watch feels nothing short of "real", and certainly does not look "cheap"! I turned teh watch in my hand, looking hard to find flaws (the screws? no, perfect. The glass? no way!). I did find them teh so-called "flaws": the strap is not as great as it could be (black leather, but being in Florence, Italy, I do know what good leather looks and feels like, and this is not it, although it is perfectly passable for everyday use); and the hands on the watch are ever so slightly imperfect along the edges - if you look very, very, very close. As for the movement, like I said before I know nothing of watches - it seems to work :o)

I owe a note to Joshua: dealing with him was easy, he was extremely efficient and detailed - suggesting the "alternative" payment method and providing clear instructions, sending good QC pictures, and reassuring me (I know I know) when needed...

I'll certainly be coming back for more - I NEED ONE MORE!!!!!!!!!

Terrible picture attached for anyone's curiosity...

  5. Hello everyone!

First of all congratulations on this forum - I recently decided to buy a PAM rep, and you people saved me from possible scams :o)

So I ordered a 029 from Josh, and so far so good. What I am wondering is if anyone has experienced having the watches shipped to Italy through the UK. I tracked it until delivery there, but then was not provided a tracking number from the UK to Italy - is this normal? In past experience, how long does delivery from there take?

Thanks in advance if anyone can shed some light on this!
