  1. Hi guys,

    I am recently planning to buy a genuine Panerai (not sure which model). However I am a little bit confuse with the new case that Panerai has right now (For example, PAM 311). Do all of the new Panerai model use the new case? or it only apply for several series (for example, the one that using Calibre movement)

    Currently I have PAM 111/005 which using thinner case compare to the PAM 311 with it's thicker case.

  2. Hi,

    Today I received my new PAM 005 Noob from Angus, Puretime.

    I really love the watch, and I think this is the best Panerai rep that I have at the moment. I have PAM 111N H-Factory, and I have big problems with its CG and Text Dial.

    I always been thinking to swap the Asian 6497 movement to Swiss 6497 movement. The Asian movement itself is pretty accurate however personally I think the movement is really noisy despite its close back.

    What do you guys suggest?

    1. Should I change it to Swiss movement? is the difference movement will reduce the noise?

    2. or I should just service the watch and hopefully it will reduce the noise.

    and for the Swiss movement, I assume that

    A. Unitas 6497-1 / ETA 6497-1 Watch Movement with Hammered Finish

    B. ETA 6498-1 Movement With Deluxe Finish and Blue Screws (or if the serial really makes difference, how about same ETA 6497 with decorations)

    will perform exactly the same? the only difference is its decorations?

    and here a picture of PAM 005 Noob from Puretime. Despite a slower response from Angus, the shipping is blazing fast. Posted on May 31th and supposedly arrive at June 5th.

  3. Well, I have adjusted the font color, so that it will stand out better. Notes taken on the feedback about more contrast needed between read and unread posts.

  4. Love the new layout and looks. I agree that the new layout needs a little bit of contrast.

    I am fine with white background, but white with pretty light gray (50-60%) make text hard to read. More contrast between unread and read post is needed.

    I don't know about other readers, but I think the leading in the menu navigation is little bit bigger. It makes quiet a space between each line.

    My suggestion is to add some color. Blue tone color like in the mobile version is a great choice.

    Other than that, great job.

    I really love the mobile version. It makes me easier to access the forum. The navigation is great, and it loads fast.

    Sorry to bring this topic again.

    The status until now is I haven't receive the watch yet. I already tried to contact USPS several times by both e-mail system and directly call them. The responses are always they need me to call "this numbers" or give them the sender name so they can make an inquiry.

    From TD side, TD said that I need to deal with the problem by myself. I had already tried to deal with it by myself, but I always stuck with USPS requires me to give out the sender name. Of course TD will not giving out their real name, and I completely understand that.

    Its already more than 1 month the package stuck at "Depart USPS Sort Facility". TD said that he already make an inquiry, but he doesn't even give me the further details.

    Fortunately, I don't stress it so much and just patiently waiting for it. I just hope it arrive :huh:

    My question is, if the package somehow cannot be found I assume the TD should send new package, and Phill already suggest me the same thing. What should I do if the TD doesn't want to send out the new package. Do the TD doesn't have any responsibility/liability once the package left their place? or TD has guarantee delivery?

    Is there any body thay can suggest me with any watchmaker who can service or fix replica. Unfortunately,I accidentaly dropped my Panerai watch and it stops working. There is no outer damages, but I think it damaged some of the movement parts.

    I am looking for a watchmaker in Los Angeles area (Orang County is fine), and if possible someone who I can come or meet in person / drop off. I am not really into mailing and stuff.

    Also, my watch is PAM 111N by H-Factory. Is it worth to repair the movement? If not, How much it cost to buy a new movement?

    My question is If my package is somehow lost in transition, does the TD refund me or ship another package? or the liability is all on the buyer side?

    Recently I contact the TD for some advice of what should I do with the package, or even better I hope he might be able to help me to sort this problem.

    He advice me to make an inquiry and pressure USPS to search my pakage. The problem is when I call USPS, they need me to spell out the TD name to them, so they are able to make an inquiry. What should I do? I am really confuse. Its already 16 days since the supposed delivery date.

  9. My next order also has "Depart USPS Sort Facility" status. It seems weird. :bangin: The last time I ordered some product from Ken, it didn't show any "Depart USPS Sort Facility" status.

    Is it because I ordered watch so the USPS tracking site show "Depart USPS Sort Facility"? or because the package is bigger compare to packaging that Ken used?
