The v3 was the last version of the 3717 to come out. Now that the 3777 is out, I'm not sure if it's still available from the dealers. If you aren't wanting to mod the watch then it's the best out of the box.

Stay away from the v2 because the dial lume is wrong. The v1 has the best dial, but lacked AR from the factory.

Personally I would find an M2M sale that had the ETA date wheel swap, and aftermarket AR already done if you are looking for 'the best'. Those are the two easiest and IMO, must have, mods. You could also check with Vac and see if he can still do one for you.

Amazing piece But, are you sure that it's a v6 case? It looks like one of the first wm9 case, the area where the crown screws down seems too recessed compared to a v3 TC LV or a v5 TC! Did you bought the case set directly from him?

Hi friends! Recently I got a lot of interest into this one, the Yachtmaster 16622. I'd like to start this build but I can't find any parts available except for the dial and the hand set from TC, the crystal because I already have a gen one, the DWO and the movement.

Does anybody know if Sean still has the case set and the bracelet in stock? what could be another good choice like those?

Or better if anybody has the parts/the complete watch, just write me what you have and we'll reach an agreement! Cheers

Just a question: I have a dear friend with several gens, included two 16610 -both lugholes and sel version. He will let me disassemble one of them, took the case apart and try to make a copy of it, but I absolutely don't know where and how to get it done. Does anybody knows what kind of machinery I need and has the know-how to make a copy starting from a gen? Only of the middle case, for the caseback/tube/crown/bezel set/insert/dial/hands/movement etc. I will refer to TC/ST and the other suppliers we already know. I'd like to set a small project like HH' 5514 Comex Case set!

I asked BK about this and he pointed me to these that Andrew has. These are the ones with the crooked 12 markers. As I understand they were the base for his Transformer watches. I bought two this year and one is now a transformer GMT with gen Pepsi insert and the other is a gen dialed 16570. These use gen construction and will take a gen spec bezel assembly, dial size and crystal.

Hi mates, I'm going to start a new build and I'd like to proceed with a 16610 Old-style case, with lug holes!

What is the best and most accurate solution to choose? The ST case? I already have a v5 TC but I compared it today with a gen 16610 with lugholes and the proportions are completely off!! Thanks =)
