  1. Hi all, I'm not sure if I am posting this is the right forum, if I have made a mistake, kindly move it to the relevant section. I was wondering if anyone here has any contacts on where to service or repair their rep watches in Malaysia or Singapore, I have tried searching around the forums for a few days now and could not find any relevant answers, I would gladly appreciate your kind replies! Thanks guys!

  3. The folded/fixed links, because they are gold are very very easy to manipulate safely if they are heated up. Almost scalding hot water enables you to manipulate the gold without doing any damage to it and making it much easier to take it apart and put it back together.

Thanks for the reply boss, its really a new knowledge for me. Good job on the restoration! very nice classic indeed!

  4. Here's the recouperation of the bracelet. No matter how hard I tried it was impossible to get rid of bracelet stretch. but I am pretty happy with the end result with the bracelet.

This is how much dirt was in each link (there was even more in some of them!!!)

Done for now. It looks WAY better than before and this was just a cleaning and hand polish as I didn't want to remove any gold.

Hello, may I say that it is a very fantastic pick up and a nice job you are doing to restore this piece. Great respect to you! May I ask how you were able to remove the fixed links on the bracelet as shown on the 3rd photo? What type of tools do you use and what are the methods? Thanks!

  5. Hello everybody, its good to finally be able to become a part of a community to discuss and share our passion for watches. My name is Josh and I hope that I'll be able to learn as much as I can from all of the gurus and professionals here and maybe one day I'll be able to contribute back to the community as well! Nice to meet you all!
