Does anyone have any current sources for a set of gen IWC Mark XVI dial and hands? Thanks.

Correction to my earlier comment, starting 2006 and finishing conversion 2010, IWC stated that they stopped using ETA2892A2's as the basis for their calibre 30110.
Also, the other post asked about the cheaper version xvii. It doesn't use the 4813 I wrote about, but it uses the 2813 apparently, which is a 21 jewel, 21,600bph movement. Accuracy can be good, depends on how you maintain it, etc., there are many mixed opinions depending on who you ask, but most agree gens and gen swiss movements are best (not so much the re-used swiss returns in many newer reps).
Thanks for the info! Will see if Josh releases a version using the 2892 movement.

I noticed that Josh (perfect clones) now has a version of the XVII on bracelet using the 2813 movement for $178. Anyone know if there are any differences cosmetically in terms of accuracy with the 2892 movement? Or is it just the same case, dial with a different movement?

Who did you contact? My 4 mo. old Mark XVI rep just died. I need to have it fixed.
Who to try and contact really depends on where you are located. You should be able to get suggestions if you specify your location (US, etc). Or do a search like 'watch repair US'. I'm based in asia.

You would need a vibrio graph or similar as it sounds like the beat will be well out as well if it is 4 min slow a day
thanks for the reply. I have contacted someone to do a complete overhaul for me. Rather irritating as the QC pics showed all the timegrapher results to be 'great'.

I just received a Mark XVI from one of the TD this week and the watch is running about 10 secs slow per hour. Is it a straightforward thing to open up the caseback and adjust it by trial and error? I don't need the watch to be running perfectly on time but losing 10 secs per hour adds up to quite alot. The XVI i have is the one that has the Asian 2892 movement. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have an older IWC vintage minute repeater with the closed caseback (the one that is around 39mm excluding the faux repeater switch and crown). Just wondering if it is easy and possible to buy a similar dimension case and transfer everything (dial, A21J movement, etc) over into the new case. I really like the vintage looking dial on this watch but do not like the faux repeater switch so thinking it would be nice if i could just change the case to a normal case without the repeater switch. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Not that I have seen
Thanks for the reply.

Are there any reps of the IWC Portuguese automatic ref.3531? Been searching around but so far have not found anything. Thanks.

Thanks, will go check out how a 39mm watch looks on my wrist but i still think it would look huge.

Are there any smaller (around 36mm) pilot reps or any other smaller IWC reps available? I have a small skinny wrist and the larger watches would look quite ridiculous on my wrist. Thanks!
