  1. Hi all, thanks for all your valuable advise.

    Updates:

Earlier on, I mentioned that I'll give the refund option to Mr. R. :fool:

Well, he decided to wait in the end but still do not believe I'm not making a profit from these.

Anyway, I happened to visit his area during my labour day holiday and I past the box to his address personally. Turn out to be a freight forwarding company (ffc). :g:

Only after acknowledgment from his ffc, Mr. R then apologized to me for his bad and rude attitude and claimed that he owe me an apology in public.

However, I do not wish to expose him. I hope everyone can understand this and respect my decision. With that said, I hope he will turn better in this community and one day I (we) might just need his help.

    Good day fellas,

    Simon

  2. Hey man,

Unfortunately he is not a TD here, but he's a TD on other forum.

His humble gallery for all the watches (and other items) he have on hand

    https://www.dropbox.com/gallery/2644807/1/Narikaa%20Gallery?h=a09530

    Or email him at narikaa@gmail.com

This watch I got from him is the last! He will be sourcing more I hope and probably even more after so many member saw my posting in major forums.

    Simon

*Mod: If I cannot advertise him here, I will remove the post.

  3. The mailman arrived this morning with the watch and a pen I get from Reg (Narikka).

This is the first time I ordered a watch from Narikka and am pleasantly surprise by the service quality I received and the watch is pack in a Defenda Cardboard Postal Tubes. I've censored my address.

    IMG_5933.jpg

Very clean and neat packaging. I like this more than the usual box packaging. Yes, I'm a very anal person. But these small details do make my day.

The top have been stapled and secured.

    IMG_5935.jpg

    Defenda Tubes

    IMG_5937.jpg

Took me quite a while to remove the staples and pop the tube.

    IMG_5936.jpg

Once the cap removed, the watch and pen is wrapped in a bubble wrap and with a little effort pull out the entire content.

    IMG_5938.jpg

Unwrapped the bubble wrap, reveal the Montblanc pen together with the Chopard in a suede blue pounch.

    Chopard MM GT XL

Remove the item from the pouch reveal a securely taped watch.

    IMG_5951.jpg

And I have to admit I suck at removing sticky tapes since young. Spend quite a long time trying to figure out where's the end of the tape. Traced and slowly remove the tape and revealed a watch inside a plastic bag.

    IMG_5952.jpg

Remove the plastic bag and it reavealed another plastic bag! :D

    IMG_5955.jpg

Just make me wondering how many plastic it gonna have? :p

Finally removed the last plastic bag, and there the Chopard smiling at me. Isn't she beautiful? :)

    IMG_5957.jpg

Accompanied with a bright yellow cleaning cloth nicely wrapped on the top strap!

    IMG_5958.jpg

Unwrapped the cleaning cloth and the watch look so much better~

Now for the details and time to see some dust that is near impossible to see normally! And this is where it's going to be "dirty" ;)

Time to observe this beauty inside out!

Alright with these images, I think I shall put a beautiful full stop here!

Thanks Reg from Narikka! These purchases from you are top notch and I really appreciate all the effort you put into this. You are easily the best dealer here in my opinion! Great! Look like I just found my preferred TD here! Thanks Buddy!

    Montblanc

As for the rep Montblanc. I don't know much about Pen and this is my first time buying such luxury pen. Have been a pilot pen user since I learn how to write (maybe draw)

So I just post some photos up and maybe you can help me or guide me how to shoot a pen or even appreciate a good pen! :D

I will just throw the pen photos here :cowboy:

  4. The mailman arrived this morning with 2 custom straps from Steveo for my PAM111N.

    IMG_5883.jpg

Very nicely packaged with a Quality assurance tag. There's really no need to state there, but it's a very nice gesture from him. Make me feel confident with his product.

    IMG_5884.jpg

And inside revealed a nicely wrap up straps!

    IMG_5885.jpg

And yes, both strap I ordered are wrapped individually!

    IMG_5888.jpg

I custom made this 2 pair of straps and it's cater to my wrist size.

These are made with the following request. (Many might find it troublesome) :shh:

    • Wrist size 7 inches
    • 4 holes
    • I'm going to use the 2nd hole only
    • Must be thick 4mm and above.
    • Thread have to be thick and waxed.

So with those ridiculous request, Steveo answered my request nicely and agreed to help me with those.

So the first strap I customized is a simple Black strap with waxed thread.

    24/24mm

    IMG_5886.jpg

And the next strap I throw him a photo I got from the net and ask him to make one similar. However I don't have the photo with me now. And it look similar to the one but better.

    24/22mm

    IMG_5889.jpg

    Group photo

    IMG_5891.jpg

After I took the photos, I mount my buckles onto the straps immediately!

Black strap with PVD Pig buckle (I know many people would say that PVD buckle is nice only on PVD watch head, but hater gonna hate!) I love it. I'm extremely pleased that the strap and the PVD buckle goes so well together!

    IMG_5895.jpg

And next is my 24/22mm strap! So I mount my rep Panerai buckle onto them!

Very nice!!!! I like the outcome of this too!

    IMG_5892.jpg

So with the buckles up, I took off my rubber strap from my PAM111N and mount the strap on!

PAM111N with Black strap and PVD Pig Buckle

    and next

So now are some of the wrist shots I took!!! :cowboy:

    And the brown strap

    brown_back.png

    Finally,

All in all, I've a terrific and great time working with Steveo. His service is top notch and communication with him is great! No forgetting the very reasonable price of the custom strap. Everything plus shipping is only 39.50usd. And the short waiting time and fast shipment is another plus point! I will definitely return and get more custom strap from him!

    Strongly recommended!

The strap maker, Steveo, website is www.steveostraps.com

  5. i get my straps from http://www.steveostraps.com/ can't be beaten on quality and price, and if you send him a picture of a strap he will most likely make it for you. if you find someone in Britain to service your watches, at a reasonable price, please PM me. sorry can'y help with your other questions.

Yes, Steveo strap. Very good service and reasonably priced strip! I bought 2 straps from him! And many more to come!

He can custom built basically any strap you need. PAM or any other brand that required certain design (AP).

  6. The buyer contacted me and willing to wait. But threaten me that he will involve paypal if the box do not arrived at our agreed timing.

And I too agreed with you guys here that after he receives the box and this **** will continues. I'm not surprise he will even tell me that there's a fingerprint on the box and is unhappy. Anyway, I'm just going to take the risk and send him the box. Call me stupid or crazy :bangin: , but I'm going to proceed and show him that we don't make profit here among member trade. :nono:

  7. I should not mention any names here. Perhaps anyone selling their pre-loved item have to be more careful with their promises made. Learnt from my lesson. Thanks Philfree, I should mentioned about the postage journey.

As for watchmeister, mentioning of names isn't my intention in this thread. Again, I think I should respect him and give him options, afterall I did promised to "pass" him the box. Perhaps I can reveal a little more information is that he's pretty new here too (<20 posts). So I guess I can understand his concerned.

  8. Again, I want to stress that I know and fully aware that I should sent the box as promised. But what really make me wanting to post this up is the fact that he assumed that everyone selling stuffs here make a profit or we are deem stupid or crazy in his dictionary, and this is what really anger me here. (Which explains the title of this post)

    I'm not in USA.

  9. Hey Sgtguk,

Yeah I fully understand and am sincerely sorry for not sending the box as promised. I just find the words he used are too much and he assumed that everyone selling stuffs here make a profit or we are deem stupid or crazy in his dictionary, and this is what really anger me here. (Which explains the title of this post)
