Where would I look for to find blue screws? Sorry for the noob questions.

Picked up my first PAM rep from a M2M and I have no idea of checking for these mods. Can some of you PAM guys help me out here? The mods done to it.... * Micrometric screw modded
 * Ratchet and crown wheels re-brushed
 * Ratchet and crown wheels bevel polished
 * Flattened and polished the cannon pinion
 * Oiled, adjusted, seals lubed
 * Re-shaped the swan neck
 * Polished entire case and bezel
 * Re-brushed the crown guard 
 * Adjusted the CG lever snap
 * Lightly Chamfered the edge of CG
 * Polished CG pin set CG pin height
 * High polished the crown

I am expanding my watch straps and wanting to get a boa leather strap. They are a bit cheaper and lasts a bit longer than crocs. Do you guys also own any snake leather straps? If so, is it suitable for everyday wear? Thanks!

That's interesting that black theme is better than other themes? Why is this? Is it more accurate?

Is there a reason why you mixed up V7 with Noob's version? I guess some parts are better than the others?

I just that my bezel screw located near 1 oclock sticks out more than the rest. I am assuming the gen Diver bezel screws look like this right? Do I need to file down the screw length or something?

Only a few thousand for this? Ha! I think I am not good at sourcing gen parts because I came across a gen dial for $1k, gen tachy for $800. Also, which version donor AP roo should I get? This mod is wanting me to get myself a ROO!!!

I am planning to send the watch to domi to get a few things fixed and added. -Crooked datewheel -Installing gen Diver rubber strap -Putting in Powermatic 80 movement. -Waterproofing -Double AR on cyclops -Double AR Xtal Not sure if I need the double AR on the Xtal since AP only has one side AR and V7 is already pretty decent right off the bat. Let me know if I am missing anything else.

What's the best rep version out there? I've been looking at PAM 441 ZF 1:1 Best Edition ZP .9001 for a bit but my decision is not made yet. Any recommendations for me?

Hi guys, I just bought some watch straps to replace my current ones. Is there a starter kit for watch tools or anything? Any feedback would be appreciated!

False alarm guys. It's GEN. It came with the packaging and I noticed that GEN straps are a bit darker than REP ones.

I was able to source 2nd hand AP Diver GEN straps and I can't tell the difference just by looking at them. Someone said OEM feels a lot more harsh but they feel the same. I am starting to think if the seller sold me REP as oem strap.

I see a lot of franken AP ROO on here and other rep forums and haven't seen many franken AP Divers. Is it because the gen parts are harder to source? I was starting to think it makes more sense to go for franken AP ROO then AP Diver since AP ROO costs anywhere around $25k-40k. So if one were to invest $5k into a franken AP ROO, it's still fraction of the cost. Whereas AP Diver costs about $15K and you would be spending about 1/3 of the cost for a franken. What do you guys think?

Oh I see. Thank you for that info. I've seen some 2nd hand Tissot Powermatic 80 for around $250-400 on ebay. Not sure where I could source just the movement.

What do you think about LWO 283 movement? Powermatic 80 movement is still superior?

Does the gen AP have slow beat as well? Ive never seen a gen AP Diver so I can't tell which movement is closest to gen. I do hear good things about Tissot Powermatic 80 and its whopping 80 hour power reserve.

Just got my first AP diver (JF v7) and the AR on the crystal is pretty decent. I am very pleased with it. There are many of you guys doing the mods for the AP ROO but what are some mods that I could do the JF V7 AP Diver? I am itching to build my first franken AP! Thanks!

I just receivd my watch and i am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the rep. No ar. No texure on the face. Very yellowish hands.
