  1. Thank you all for the replies! I went in to Jared's and spoke with the GM and the District manager. The Regional VP is coming Thur for the watch show, they said he would be the one to talk to about taking $2,000 off the watch. I am going to go discuss with him and see. I am definitely not going to pay more than $10,000 for the watch. Thank you all for replying, I will let you know what he says. I personally don't think they will come down that much and I will go hunt for a blue one

  2. I went into Jared's today to pick up my Hamilton from getting serviced and I noticed they had pre-owned Rolex watches in stock for a watch show on Thur. Why did I even look? Lol So I see this gorgeous two tone Sub with a black bezel and diamonds on all but the 6 9 and 12 positions which have saphires. It has a scratch on the crystal and they said they would fix it for me. Has a one year bumper to bumper waranty and they are asking $12,800. Since I have bought a bunch of timepieces from them he discounted it down to $12,300 for me. I gave them $1,000 (refundable) to hold it (I couldn't pick it up till Thur anyway) and I wanted to discuss with the experts on here. Am I getting a good deal? It would be my first Gen Rolex, my other gens are Tissots and Hamiltons. TIA

I have attached a pic of what it looks like though this is not the actual watch post-44812-143056865586.png

  3. Lobster the Atelier's are nice, but I don't like a lot of their scents, these two are phenomenal though! I am really impressed by the Hermès as I still can smell it 24 hrs after I put it on, definitely long lasting! Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2

  4. Just bought some Tom Ford private collection Ombre de Hiyacinth, kind of flowery but I like it! Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
So I took back the Ombre de Hiyacinth and swapped it out for some Neroli Portofino, and also got a bottle of Terre D'Hermès Parfum and Atelier Mistral Patchouli, the Atelier rep tossed me a travel bottle of the Orange Sanguine for free. egeny4uz.jpg Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
  5. I just bought the Clive Christian 1872 this weekend at Neiman Marcus, it is phenomenal! Kind of pricey at $310 for less than 2oz bottle, but every woman so far has smelled it and then come back and said they couldn't stop thinking about it. I sampled their #1 but I did not like the scent Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2

  6. Ok so I assume that most of us have a nice watch case/winder. I have one with 4 winders and holds 12 watches total. I got a great deal on it and couldn't be happier. I do however have one huge issue, all of my bracelets are too big and the roll and get scratched up. How do you solve this conundrum? Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2

  7. You just need to find a HV replacement and you are good to go. Start a WTB thread and I am sure someone will come up with the spare part you need. No need to replace anything else, it would be better though to open the case and put some epoxy to be sure not to lose the hv once again (also, to be sure there-s no leakage).
I looks like the crown just screws onto the threads on the watch stem, can I just put some super glue on the threads and tighten this new one down? I emailed Josh and he said he can send me a new crown for it. But I would need to install it and glue it. Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
  8. So I was showing a friend my watch and telling him it was a rep and he says "I think something is missing" pointing to the threaded stem at the 10 O'clock position. Great I've had it three days and already lost the piece that goes on there. What do I do from here? y2uty8e8.jpghumybe8e.jpg Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2
