I got the date version and it is top notch
I have been swimming and no problems, it has the high beat movement so power reserve is not so good so has to be wound periodicaly.
Otherwise great watch
I'm very interested in one of these but a recent post asking whether or not one should choose date vs no date, suggested the date wheel numbers are not accurate and a tell tale sign. What are your thoughts. I prefer a date but I like accuracy. Thank you.

Well after three years the pin holding the first flip wouldn't seat properly and continually became loose and was a problem. Replacement wa s80'usd

I cannot comment on the watch in question as I am far from an expert but my dealings with Andrew have been stellar. I have a Milgauss and just purchased a replacement bracelet as I seriously messed up the original. Fast shipping great communication.

I recently got Persols. If they are good enough for James Bond, they are good enough for me!

this is a beautiful watch.black dial clear crystal and gotta love that second hand. Everything lines up visually to my untrained eye and I'm happy.
Andrew was stellar in terms of communication and there was no issues in dealing with him.
If only they didn't spell it Roleks. Just kidding

Do you wear them slightly loose so they wiggle a bit or tight and stationary? I ask because my new watch with two links out fits tight does not move but I know it's there and possibly may be too tight! I still have feeling in my fingers:). With one link out it moves freely yet does not completely revolve around my wrist. The curse of small wrists.
Opinions welcome.

Hi. I hope I can contribute to conversation. I was just at Trustys website and found a closed case back po 42 with no happy feet, ar, and correct according to the site he position. I am not knowledgeable enough to say that this is accurate per old specs but it is nice. So if you change your mind and want a closed back model they do have it.
For what it is worth, I just got a delivery today from Trusty. Under two weeks time, excellent communication and a beautiful time piece. I will discusss it in the appropriate forum. But trusty delivers the goods.

Further clarification. The black face non green has orange squares the white face and green crystal have the seconds marked. Sorry for the confusion.
-
oh forgot to add, the real difference is the real milgauss has the seconds numbers written above the number marker where as the reps have an orange square. Again, i dont care as, nobody will really notice and my main thing was the funky second hand. I love the lightning bolt!
-
Ordered one from trusty time last night. Not concerned about the orange. How many Milgauss have you seen worn.
I don't think it should be. Problem but what do I know?
-
Proraso cream in the tube. It's the best.
-
I did an extensive search here. Green apparently isn't the way to go. I could live with the clear crystal.
-
I'm thinking of getting the Milgauss with green crystal at Trustytime. It looks good with the exception of the hands being silver in the pictures and black on the video like the real thing. Being a newbie here, the technical stuff about movements doesn't mean much to me except my brief research shows if info to a Swiss movements would be better off as far as repairs go if needed.
That being said, if anyone can offer other vendors that the board likes or comments on this one in particular it would be greatly appreciated. Thank in advance

thats amazing! exactly what i would love

Welcome to the forum. Please brace yourself as these types of questions bring the wrath of the gods upon you.
First, you have fallen prey to one of the top 10 lies of replica watches. There is NO grading system. Any advertisements of such are lies, unless you can find the true AAAA++++ grade replica's, in which case you shall be required to return here and inform the membership of your find. Upon which you will be summarily shot for revealing the source of TRUTH (i.e. "who has the best sub?" The answer to which has been a carefully guarded secret since the begininng of rep-dom. Many Bantha's have died protecting this information)
Secondly, on the forum there are Trusted Dealers. Their sections can be found toward the bottom of the main page of the forum. They are Trusted Dealers because, generally, they don't sell crap, and they don't rip people off. They have been vetted by the members and the admins. You will be advised by all to stick only with them.
Third, you will be told you haven't done enough homework yet, go back and use the search feature more. No. You haven't. You may think so, but you are only delaying the inevitable. Do it, again!
Fourth, you will be given much good and confusing/conflicting advice as the membership can heap upon you. And you will be told to benefit from it. Do so.
If you heed the advice in #4, do not ask obvious and silly questions thereforth such as "but who is BK? and where can I buy from him?" Such questions will cause the membership to smote you about the head and shoulders with a decomposing goat carcass.
Good luck
Thank you for this advice

Once you tell us your price range, we can tell you where to look.
5-7 range for the right watch

The insert is the black ring surrounding the crystal which sits embedded in the actual bezel. A gen insert really upgrades a rep so it is a real boon to be able to use one.
Thank you!

excuse my noobness whats a gen insert?

I have been reading about the got with blue black dial and there have been lots of complaints about the 6 and 18 color change. Alos found this one with the correctly functioning movement. A bit more expensive and even the standard rep movements , the watch is more expensive. Anyone know if this is a legit dealer? Thanks
