Dang AJ you had to do it to me! Nice pieces! Now I must get both! Hmmm now which one first??????Here ZF is releasing V2 of the Bronzo so maybe get the 389 first????Also the KV Bronzo is looking sweet and rumor has it they have a V2 coming as well.

Looks good however crown spacing is to tight. Seems to be a problem with KV bronzo. Easy fix tho I hear.

I wouldn't jump the gun rarely do VIP members with great feedback flake out. Give him some time and let's hope he didn't die. That has been known or speculated to have happened in the past. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree sheriff mines pops a loose easily too but the fit and finish are quite nice.

I would only pay a professional jeweler NOT a kid at a mall watch kiosks. They'll muck up your band.

It's a bear but doable with the right tools. I used a small plastic hammer and pin push tool. TIP: keep the plastic on the band to protect it while removing the pins.

Well folex it depends on how far your willing to go. I've got $1500 or so in my DSSD. I dont think dial, crystal, or crown is necessary. Mainly the bezel insert was always the dead giveaway. I've got gen polish job and PB DAD works with gen insert and luv it! Very passable next to gen.

I hear the gen glidelock is much better than the rep. If you ever decide to let it go hit me up! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Awesome Mike! I need that when I hit the Jersey Shore this fall!

If you're a watch geek like most of us no way three watches will satisfy our addiction! If we're talking money I was just discussing this with the wife. Hypothetically if I were a million x2 I would buy a couple of gens that they don't make good reps of. However I'd never buy a gen Panerai because the reps are just to darn close to the gen and IMO they're just not worth the money.

As someone once said "Rolex makes a nice $500 watch"

Nice work Mike! Enjoy to the max!

In what way do you mean "weird"? It could be thats just the way rolex makes the 2 on the ceramic bezel inserts.

Hey whats up! Personal choice my friend. I've dealt with both Angus at Puretime and Toro at Torobravo. Both have outstanding service but Puretime is probably a larger dealer than Toro. However Toro offers awesome deals on some discontinued or soon to be discontinued watches which is what lead me to deal with him. For most NOOB products Angus is my go to guy. I also like the fact that Puretime pressure test each watch for free and send you a QC pic of the test as well as a print out ticket showing it passed. Hopes this helps. Enjoy to the max! Oh yea and if you're not clear both those watches our the same ZF Bronzo.

I agree I have a gen insert and the TC compares fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Look in the parts for sale section. He's there!

Closest to gen would be a TC for vintage sub or BK for modern sub-C.

Beautiful piece!
