Perfect, thanks for posting this.

No one got theirs yet??
Someone please post some detailed pictures, we don't need a full review (just yet)

The QR on the gen stinks as well. One of the dumbest ideas Panerai came up. One of the folks in my local boutique was telling me that is the number one reason why PAM's come in there for repair.
I think the old screw design was quick to begin with if not quicker...
-
Can someone explain how the QR is designed?
I'm curious to know if the QR button can pop out even when a strap is mounted.
Thanks.

I have an N series.
What tool do I need to use to get the cg angled correctly? Can I use a diamond file or do I need a dremel?

Wondering if the Noob factory fixed the issue with the QR on the newer PAMs (e.g. 243m, 299k).
OR does anyone have issues with their PAM243?
Thanks in advance.

I really like the Noob version. Even though it's an older model (K) it has all of the correct 'gen' features.
The H-fac's crown is completely wrong and kills the watch for me... too much gap between the case and crown.
Sorry Andrew, but I'm going with Angus on this one.

Great write up!
Can you tell me how hard it is to just line up the rep incabloc to the needle? Does it just turn or does it need to be pressed out then aligned?
-
Does anyone know the flaws on this crown guard? I am considering a gen CG but want to make sure I'm not replacing something that is already good.
Thanks in advance

Anyone know where I can source a gen strap?

Great! If I could do it again I would get a Noob. But, I'm very happy with my H factory.

What is the current turn around time for this?

Got it, thanks!

I'm trying to get in touch with him as well.
Can someone help me out?

If you spend a lot of money on a replica watch and want to wear it in the water, spend just a few more dollars to have it pressure checked. Why destroy a $400 watch over a $40 test?
I sent my Tag 500M to Vaccum, and after he had verified all the gaskets it passed at 7ATM depth.
I have difficulty finding a watch shop that will work on reps. Therefore, I work on them myself.
I guess it's just the nature of the business, nobody wants to work on them and I have come to accept that.
Most places don't even want to finish a conversation with you after you tell them it's a replica.
But I do understand where you are coming from and appreciate it.

This is the show/video that introduced me to Panerai watches. Love it!

Does anyone know how "waterproof" this watch is? With all those gaskets it's got to count for something.
I prob. won't ever go deeper than 10ft.
Ordered mine from Andrew at Trusty Time. Got the QC pics today and can't wait to have it in hand.
From what I understand, all of these watches come from a single source so there should be no difference.
I have ordered from Anderw before and he is great to work with.
Looks like it does pretty well. I did grease the back case o-ring.

Thanks for the review. Read this and bought it the next day.
Did anyone else notice the spacing between the crown "valve" and casing? I've seen a few gen pics and it is almost flush with the casing. Hope there will be a mod for this issue.

There is a difference in the color. If you want OEM the REP is as good.
I think the rep has sharp angles. But I have seen some gens that are sharp as well.
Thanks for the reply. I needed someone to kinda talk me out of it.

Can someone tell me if there is a difference in color/look of a brushed buckle and a titanium one?
I ask because I want an OEM one but it's hard to find a titanium one for my PAM 177. I was hoping a brushed steel will look close.
Thanks.
New Gen Pam coming out. What do you think?
