From what I know, quartz version do work as original ones.. but you will not get that smooth swipe. It's a big giveaway. But they are quite reliable and don't have sunken datewheel as most navis have.

I already asked Andrew about the reliability and he said that the latest batches of the movement are quite OK.

Hello guys.
I would like to ask you for a piece of advice.
I've just received a yellow superocean from asian7750.com and it looks amazing. If I hand wind it, it holds a charge for abou 37, 38 hours, but using it normally and relying on self-winding is kind of an issue. The watch stops after 7, 8 hours. I walk for at least about 30 min every day..and never had this issue with any other movement, even a7750. If I shake it a bit it snaps back to life for some time but never has enough charge to keep on it own. Actually when shaking it, it sounds like the rotor is a bit loose, but I havent opened it yet. Any ideas what it might be?
Thanks in advance.

It's not scam but they suck hardcore.
I bought from them once long ago before knowing this forum and well.. very overpriced.
Anyway stick with the TDs.
