Where did you pick that PO up? The Bezel and the insert are lined up perfectly!
-
Damn, that's pretty awesome! Where did you get it?

Shame to see the old man retire, he was (And still is!) one of the very best! I hope you shall grace us with you presence once again old friend!

Gooooooooood evening all you fine gentlemen! I've been lurking about like I usually find myself doing, and this sexy beast going under the name of the SuperOcean 42 seems to be on the verge of being classified as a super rep! *Shiny* Does anyone have any knowledge to a confounded soul like myself of the status of the 44mm? Thank you good sirs, CS

Or a crap job with amazing pay! On a serious note, that is an awesome piece, regardless if it is a gen or rep!

Royal Oak Tapisserie Dial ... Yes, they can ! Really ?

Damn, that is some intricate work! Going to be interesting to see how the rep makers do this! -
blue AP chrono, anyone know where to buy this one
CokeSmurf replied to mahalo12's topic in The Audemars Piguet Area
Unlikely yet again there Mahalo12. Since they will not source it for a single purchase, unless you spend a lot on it. I think the factories will have a hard time making this one right, and close to gen as they've had a hard time enough with the 15400! -

Very sketchy sites IMHO, I would await more information on them before purchasing. Long story short with rep watches; If it seems too good to be true, then it probably is. -
Looking very good sir!

Not bad! I don't know much about the Navitimer reps, but that SMP looks pretty awesome, where did you get it?
-
As I said earlier, its the 2009 style Batten dials i fell for, is that a V6?

Hey guys! I wanted to get things straight for any and all newbies (Myself included.) of the different 116610 parts. For example: Who has the most accurate/best cases, bracelets, clasps, the whole nine yards. (Noob, BP or whoever, list these please!) My own goal in this is to source and make my own non-franken 116610 what is nigh impossible to distinguish from the gen without having a look on the inside. I've gathered that TC has the best dials, his own very mysterious Kengsington High Dial for the 116610, and his cases seem to be pretty awesome too! So, who has the best parts? CS
-
Not bad, how many have you got?
-
Looks good to me! Any pictures of the CB and side of the case? I don't want to be your mother or anything, but a Gentleman never has long fingernails!
-
Where can I find it, I'll sell myself to the highest bidder if need be.
-
Interesting to hear Pete! (ANSWER MY THREAD OF THE HUBS PLEASE!) I see what you men, and bow my head to one with greater knowledge!

The absolute fastest way to identify a rep of an RM is looking at the CB. If it is curved (So the watch sits better on the wrist) its gen, since this is very complicated to do. Never seen an RM rep that has this, and the dial is just terrible, the lettering is faded and not clear, unlike the gen. If the CB and whole back side of the watch is flat = its a rep.

Where, and more importantly, when can i get this?
-
I see, I've heard that the 1400 is an extremely modified ETA 2894-2, but I've also heard from other places that it is a modified ETA 7750 (Speaking of the gen now.) On the 48mm, how does it sit on the wrist, does it sit well for being such a large watch, or does one need rather large wrists? What of the BB 2009 style (3rd link i believe), how would you say it fares OOB, and its possible flaws?
-
Looks pretty awesome! The one thing that caught my eye as a possible fault (Please correct me if I am wrong here!) is that the date window seems to be too "centered", and too far into the dial. Is it just me, or should the date window be closer to the rehaut?

Hey guys, I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a new hub, but can't seem to find any more info of any other members owning one, so I am asking you guys about the quality of the rep, and how good they really are! I'm really in to the "batten" style indexes on the dial, but none of them seem to be V6 versions, so help me out finding which one seems the be the best (As don't really mind the small differences between then, since I am anyway going to get a new strap for it!) Here are the ones i've been looking at: BB 44mm V7 IceBang 2 http://puretime.co/product/big-bang-44mm-v7-full-ceramic-ice-bang-ii BB 44mm All Black Fantasy Ed. (I'm aware that this is a fantasy edition, but what can be changed to make is as look as gen as possible, like the date wheel for example.) http://puretime.co/product/big-bang-all-black-ii-fantasy-edition/ BB 44mm 2009 style Batten dial. (This one seems to be the best at the moment) http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=279_326&products_id=5703&zenid=b9754a5da6b4522d587f6fe1534f791c BBK 48mm Batten style dial PVD http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=279_292&products_id=5497&zenid=b9754a5da6b4522d587f6fe1534f791c So, lets here it! Thanks guys, CS

Good evening to you all! I was having a discussion with a good friend of mine over a whiskey on trying to find out what is the most overall accurate rep watch of all time! Frankens are do NOT count, since they obviously have certain gen parts. So, what truly is the most accurate rep watch out of the box of ALL TIME? My guess is one of the PAM Base models, or perhaps the latest AP Diver 4.1, but since i own none of these, please, share your thoughts and ideas! Let me know if you want to make a poll of the matter! The Cokesmurf!

Holy cluster f*ck, my city is under siege!
CokeSmurf replied to fitmic's topic in General Discussion
I agree. Stockholm is pretty much under lockdown and its annoying as hell getting anywhere. -
En till Svensk! Välkommen ombord! The three main dealers that i have used are the following: www.ttw888.com - Trustytime; aka. TT, Andrew etc. Good stock, QC pics on most watches and a generally good guys! Highly recommend him! www.torobravos2013.com - Toro Bravos; aka Toro. Smaller stock, but easier to communicate with and a very trusted dealer. His website gets shutdown from time to time, so if the website link doesn't work, simply search "Toro Bravo watches" on google and you'll find him! Puretime.co Seems to be having certain issues with authorities at the moment, and would therefore wait with ordering anything from him until further notice and the situation is cleared! Large stock like Trusty, but has the option for certain watches of choosing the movement yourself. (Which is somewhat of a luxury to me, with a price of course.) Hör av dig så kanske man kan komma i kontakt!
