Here are two of my Omega reps. The first is an Omega Seamaster Professional….a full sized (42mm) Bond watch. I bought this watch to see if I should buy the gen, and I liked it so much I picked up the gen. The obvious tells are the stubby crown guards and the slightly off HE valve, but other than that, it is EXTREMELY true to the original. The 2nd is the first rep I bought….an Omega Broad Arrow…this is an automatic chronograph with an asian high-beat 7750. The dial is white with “blued” hands, and it has this beautifully domed mineral crystal. This is the first watch that I ever got multiple comments on from people. It definitely has wrist presence! Over the years the hands have tarnished a bit, but it is still a stunning watch. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I wear my gen 5512 on both the oyster and a variety of NATOS. Each has their own place, but in all honesty, you can’t go wrong with an oyster bracelet. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Thank you!! I was a bit hesitant with the gilt dial, but I got a great deal and other than the "Rolex" being a hair too wide and the second hand a vit off, I'm really happy with it. I love the pearl look, so maybe replacement is better. Any suggestions? Frankly I've tried to fade this Clarks inert with no success....I've used straight bleach, straight acetone (nail polish remover and nothing! Still shiny and back. My next step is a light buff with a magic eraser... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

A little help? Need service service on a submariner...

I can recommend Sppedy G in Chicago without hesitation.....he serviced the 2846 in my Sub and it is amazing! Great guy too...a trained watchmaker. pM me for contact info. -
The dial looks amazing!

Agree with the service dial and will also mention that the date window doesn't look centered over the cyclops (that could be the angle through). I've got a gen 1675 with service crystal and bezel insert. Love the service dial so I bought one on VRF...now just waiting on hands. If you like the service dial, fantastic...it will glow and make the watch functional. My 1680 has Swiss 25 lumi dial and I love it! My grail is a 5512 with service dial!

Thank you for the suggestion ! I wi try that.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Speedmaster Broad Arrow...Asian 7750, everything works and it has this beautiful domed crystal!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks guys....unfortunately I now need to get the 2846 serviced, but then I should be good to go. The only other thing I want to do is get a new insert...the Clark one currently on the bezel is immune to bleach and I want to fade it a bit.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi everyone, today the newest incarnation of my 5513 arrived in the mail. It now sports a beautiful gilt dial and hands that have been relumed. In addition a new rep 702 crown and tube were installed. Heck after the polish, the 2 year old crystal even looks great!! I wasn't 100% sold on the Yuki gilt di when I got it, but it looks simply stunning in person and will now join (or temporarily kick out) my gen 1680 from rotation for the near future!! Here are some pictures....enjoy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Have you considered a GMT with a bezel made out of sapphires/rubies.....not my style , but attractive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How did you mod the dial?
-
Don't relumed it!! If you want lune either buy a 2nd dial or find a service dial!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes, good eye.... That is a service dial and hands....my guess it is a transitional one because while it glows beautifully, it says t<25....possibly a tritium dial that Rex relumed with lumi nova as they were switching over. it is very matte, and the markers aren't glossy like my 1675 service dial. The original hands/dial are in my parts box if I ever decide to sell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi everyone, I'm looking to pick up a 93150 for a gen 1680 while I save up for a gen and wanted some thoughts on where I should pick one up. I have one now from another rep, but the crown on the clasp is laughable. any suggestions?
-
Ok, we'll thank you for the comparisons. Every gen 5513 I've seen has a different profile....the rise starts at the bezel and rises quicker than mine. But if it is believable, I'm happy...it's been proven waterproof and that is the important part!
