  1. Here are two of my Omega reps.

The first is an Omega Seamaster Professional….a full sized (42mm) Bond watch. I bought this watch to see if I should buy the gen, and I liked it so much I picked up the gen. The obvious tells are the stubby crown guards and the slightly off HE valve, but other than that, it is EXTREMELY true to the original.

The 2nd is the first rep I bought….an Omega Broad Arrow…this is an automatic chronograph with an asian high-beat 7750. The dial is white with “blued” hands, and it has this beautifully domed mineral crystal. This is the first watch that I ever got multiple comments on from people. It definitely has wrist presence! Over the years the hands have tarnished a bit, but it is still a stunning watch.

  2. Thank you!! I was a bit hesitant with the gilt dial, but I got a great deal and other than the "Rolex" being a hair too wide and the second hand a vit off, I'm really happy with it.

I love the pearl look, so maybe replacement is better. Any suggestions? Frankly I've tried to fade this Clarks inert with no success....I've used straight bleach, straight acetone (nail polish remover and nothing! Still shiny and back. My next step is a light buff with a magic eraser...

  3. Agree with the service dial and will also mention that the date window doesn't look centered over the cyclops (that could be the angle through). I've got a gen 1675 with service crystal and bezel insert. Love the service dial so I bought one on VRF...now just waiting on hands. If you like the service dial, fantastic...it will glow and make the watch functional. My 1680 has Swiss 25 lumi dial and I love it! My grail is a 5512 with service dial!

  4. Hi everyone, today the newest incarnation of my 5513 arrived in the mail. It now sports a beautiful gilt dial and hands that have been relumed. In addition a new rep 702 crown and tube were installed. Heck after the polish, the 2 year old crystal even looks great!!

I wasn't 100% sold on the Yuki gilt di when I got it, but it looks simply stunning in person and will now join (or temporarily kick out) my gen 1680 from rotation for the near future!!

    Here are some pictures....enjoy!

  5. Yes, good eye.... That is a service dial and hands....my guess it is a transitional one because while it glows beautifully, it says t<25....possibly a tritium dial that Rex relumed with lumi nova as they were switching over. it is very matte, and the markers aren't glossy like my 1675 service dial. The original hands/dial are in my parts box if I ever decide to sell.
