I know i dont post often, heck forgot i was even a member on this fine board. But with RWI going down recently, just wanted to get to the word out to as many people as possible:

Unfortunately you are after a watch that is not so high in demand. Check with a few ther td's and if not wait it out a bit. Also keep in mind that it is CNY and they may not have the best information in terms of availability. If you wait untill after the 18th you should have a better idea of whether or not any dealer can source this watch for you.

keep in mind though that this watch is a 7750 with typical problems associated to it. Along with Sunken date wheel and Chronometer not ligning up. This is why the watch is not in demand as much as the others that are readily available.

Best of lukc finding what you are looking for though. These do pop up in Member to member sales sections quite often.

I have herd that these work. Never tried myself so not 100% sure but at $24 its worth a shot before you attempt to go back to dealer

this is purely a cosmetic mod - will not make it more or less accurate in terms of movement. Also this has absalutly nothing to do with the blue paint in the engraving. The noob factory 111 has the engraved movement while h factory has a sticker. 

Thoughts on that? well i think we can all agree that the latest batch from noob was top notch (Crystal distortion fixed). Now angus is offering this watch with an incabloc mod as well. I think that is the best option for the 127 - just my humble opinion

I was about to say that it looks a little too good to be a rep, and if it was i would ask who did the incabloc mod for you

Hey guys, not to take anything away from the trusted dealers on this site as I am sure they are truly great, but I have used swss.cc for two purchases (PAM 090 and PAM 088). They sent me QC photos and the price included rep box and papers along with an additional rubber strap and screwdriver. Granted i used them prior to finding this forum and finding out about trusted dealers.

after reviewing the same products with trusted dealers, i see that swss.cc does charge much more than they should. But i guess it is what it is. Both watches are great though and have been running without service for over 1 year.

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum, and definitely not as advanced as many on here. I have a question regarding this watch (IWC Portofino Hand Wound Moonphase - 5448). It seems wherever i look, no dealer has been able to replicate the appearance of the original movement. The see through case back should look just like the movement of the FA Jones. I know size wise these are completely different watches, but from an appearance standpoint, they are supposed to look similar.

That being said, the rep versions that I have found seem very attractive even though the movement looks nothing like the gen. There seems to be one flaw that is consistent with every dealer even the ones that this forum recommends. On the movement of the rep, Eighteen Jewels is spelled 'Eighten'. It seems that whoever is making the parts for these dealers has made a spelling mistake.

I was wondering if anyone could provide any feedback if they have seen a rep which has the "FA Jones Looking" movement, of has seen a rep with the wrong movement but with proper spelling.

Like i said, I am new to this and I am sorry if I am reposting something that has already been discussed. I tried to look through but have not seen anything referencing this subject yet.
