Well, I recently withdrew a sales post. Sorry if that bothers you, but I thought better of my decision to sell, simple. For most of us watches are emotive and sometimes our emotions get the better of us, I listed the watch hoping to sell quickly and buy something else that caught my eye on the forum, but after looking at my sales post and thinking logically about how I would feel selling a watch I had put so much effort in to building, I withdrew from sale and immediately felt a sense of refief.

How is this coming along? Anything in place yet?

What I mean by that, is that with the gen parts drying up and becoming more and more expensive we will see the cost of quality frankens rise as a direct consequence of the shortage? If our vintage frankens have gen crystals, crowns, inserts etc will they become more and more sought after as time goes on and dare I say it more and more appealing to the gen crowd as a viable alternative?

Hi guys, Im hoping someone can give me a point in the right direction Im slowly gathering parts for a 1016 build and am slightly stumped on the bezel, the case I have is a 16200 but didnt come with a bezel. I looked in the usual places, ebay, yuki, ndt etc but I cant seem to find any for sale (rep or gen) Does any one have a source?

Cheers Sgt, I had looked at that pic of Freddy's but it looks like the dots under the coronet are too close as compared to the 703 in that pic and with others I have seen? Also look at the large 'o' at the bottom of the coronet, mine looks smaller. If it is a 703 is there are reason it wouldnt fit a gen tube?

Can someone help identify this crown, I bought it as a gen 703 but it wont fit my gen 703 tube? I had a look at a comparison picture and looks more like a 702. Experts I am at your mercy....................
