I would go noob 111, having owned a couple of Getats and a 111, the quality of the 111 far exceeds the getat IMO. The 6497 movement is ultra reliable and I presume the same for both watches, so its a decision based purely on fit and finish plus your personal preference.

Well after reading about the GTG in Chigago i thought i would gauge interest in a UK meet. Im happy to organise this if we can gain interest, im located in Sheffield which is fairly central, plus i know of at least one more member (denimhead) who lives nearby. What do we think?
