That is a deployant buckle. One end is fixed to the end of a strap. The other end has a slot where the other strap goes through, and a pin where the wearer could fit through any hole on the strap.
The deployant buckle is then folded to lock it in place over the wrist when watch is worn.
It's rather intuitive you know.

Here are some photos of the deployant buckle and it's attachment to the strap. The deployant has a tiny screw that holds the end that fastens to the short side of the strap, the screw must be removed and the cross piece slides out. On the second one, one side of the cross piece unscrews you slip the other side in and screw in the one that was unscrewed. With the one that has the tiny screw, I use a tiny bit of Blue Loctite, not a big drop, just a tiny drop.
The other end is for the tongue side and you slide it through and the pin goes in one of the holes in the tongue side. You adjust that side by moving to another hole to tighten or loosen.

Great, Thanks for the input.
Also, do you guys know when the newer version of the Offshores are coming with the jewel in the middle of the rotor? I've only seen one, waiting to see when the other ones come out?

The top one is the newer "2014" edition. It has ceramic pushers rather than the rubber pushers, not sure what other "improvements" were made. this is a rep of the latest line of AP ROO 42mm watches. It also uses a strap with the tang buckle which is 20mm. The older model uses the deployant buckle and it is 18mm wide. I'm slowly converting all of my AP ROO's over to the newer style straps and tang buckles, as they are much more comfortable to me, anyway.
Not sure what you are describing about the leather strap. Is it difficult because the leather keepers are too tight?
How am I supposed to use this kind of buckle. Thanks. -
Can someone please explain to me the differences between these two watches apart from the leather and rubber straps. Also, can someone please tell me how to put on the leather strap! It's hard putting it in the slider and lifting the case because it sticks to my wrist.

Why do replicas have blue screws inside the case?

Scratched caseback and chewed up lug screw. Apart from that it's a nice looking watch.
Can you please point out where it is scratched? Thanks
Is it the one where it says Royal Oak?

Looks very nice. May I know which version is this please?
The movement is definitely healthy!
Not sure which version but here is the title: Royal Oak 41mm 15400 1:1 Best Edition Silver Dial on Black Leather Strap A2824.
I actually told them to change the strap to brown but they never did so waiting for them to make the changes. Other than that everything looks OK?
And here is the link: http://pure-time.com/product/royal-oak-41mm-15400-11-best-edition-silver-dial-on-black-leather-strap-a2824/
Looks good to me! Beautiful watch
Thank you

What the difference between the automatic jumbo and the jumbo 15400 as I noticed the latter one has a higher price.

You are correct, the AP ROO 26400 forged carbon 44mm is a very lovely piece in the flesh.
The JF factory has lately been producing pieces that are built with commendable quality, although there has been a few that missed the mark.
Which TD offers this watch?

First off I searched around for a while before I purchased this watch. I went through numerous websites and I ended up with Joshua. The reason I chose Joshua is because of his superior customer service skills. Any email he will get back to you within a few hours and the the QC pics is what the product looked like exactly! The detail and feel of the watch is amazing as well. I loved how secure and tightly packed everything was.

Looks fine to me! The V6 is the best version there is. I think you've got yourself a very nice watch mate
Thank you so much. I actually really liked your BB steel, looks amazing!! I was so confused between the steel and rose gold but in the end decided to go with this one.

Went over to all the Trusted Dealers websites and all of them different prices for a V6 Rose Gold Big Bang. Why price difference? When its from the same factory and the same product? And who should I choose?

Noob since it's a newer version with the jewel or whatever it is in the middle as well as ceramic pushers.
