This is my latest creation. Just looking for a better bezel assembly at a reasonable price.

I am looking to upgrade my cartel 1665 assembly but gen is just too steep. Clark's used to have them but I don't think he does anymore. Yuki is no longer stocking his version either. I used to see one at Phong but can't find it anymore (and as with most his stuff it was pricey). I know WSO used to have one but I worry about the fit and appearance quality there. Anyone tried it? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

I have found with this particular DRSD my mood keeps changing on what I like in the bezel insert. From like-new fat font to this highly faded rendition I have on it now.

Yes, finger nail polish remover can usually do the trick too. I seem to have had better final results when using sandpaper but it is a tricky and in-exact science. I have over cooked many a bezel in my day. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

You might need to rough up the surface of the insert a tad with some sand paper. Try some fine grit just to remove the clear coat. Then very carefully bleach. Once that clear coat is off bleach will work and work fast.

Still a few things left to do but wearing it like this for now.

Recieved a 2846 movt yesterday and was going to install it today but when I went to insert a stem (movt came without) I noticed the stem release tab was missing....i.e. the slot is there but the tab itself nowhere to be seen. When I try inserting the stem it slides in but will not catch on anything. I am guessing the tab and perhaps the rest of the keyless works is shot? I have reset one keyless on a 2836 before and it was a pain in the behind so don't want to go through that again, and wonder if it would work anyways? Any easy suggestions or do I need to ask for a return on this movt? Thanks for any advice.

Yeah. Better pearl and hands are next step here in time. On the bright side (pun intended), the existing hands and pearl glow like a champ so it is a good nighttime watch! CHEERS!

But you then would need to shorten the tube as well or the base would show after beveling of crown.

I appologize for my earlier posts today, was on Tapatalk and as much as I like it, you can miss a lot of the details in things (not to mention posting is a mess). I was really hoping for a 1665 rail dial but understand your limitations on offerings. I will just withdraw from the preorder (ie no 1680 white for now). I think this is a great project though and wish you tons of success. Thanks for your efforts!
