Movement Repair for Breitling Avenger - San Diego

Have had a nice rep Avenger for about 2 years and it stopped keeping time. Took it in to a local watch maker who said the bearings on the Chinese movement had failed and showed me an odd groove pattern on the back panel of the watch.
I would spend a couple of hundred to get it fixed but not sure that is an option. I am located in San Diego anyone have any idea what a good quality Swiss movement would cost to install?
Local watch repair said that he could not do it.
