Montecristo No. 2 all the way...
<sigh> I remember my first...like nothing else. but over 15 years have never found a #2 as good as that one.
kinda like chasing that first high.

Padron Family Reserve 46 Anniversary.
an unbelievable cigar.

There's been a shower of extremely high quality factory PAM pieces, and an HQ Planet Ocean 42mm release as well in the past several months. You can replace your broken pieces!
Thanks Jkay!
I feel like Rip Van Winkle - go to sleep for a few years and the whole world has changed!

Hi all - It's been 3 or 4 years since I've been active. Couldn't even say what brought me back. Got the itch I suppose. Paypal plus a compulsion for shiny things is a dangerous combination...
Over the years my VC died as did my 183H and my Marina Militare (my bad on that last one). The bezel popped off my Planet Ocean somewhere.
but the remainder of my collection is still intact and worn proudly.
Looking forward to reacquainting myself with the community (and the lingo) exploring the world of replicas which has obviously expanded a great deal.

Love him or hate him...
No denying its an important subject that needs some serious light shined on it.
(uh oh...too political?)

In what way is the dial 'updated' from previous 253 which has been out for a little while now?
two versions -
1) has thicker font on 6 & 12 which is truer to the gen. But it doesn't have the smaller tickmarks on the dial.
2) pictured here - all the right markers round the dial, but 6 & 12 are too thin.

I thought i would never buy a gold-plated rep - for fear of quality until...
The gold plating on my RM never ceases to amaze me. I don't even keep it in my watch box for fear of scratching it.
and my 231 ain't too shabby either

ok here's me

The power reserve on mine is pretty good... if you fully wind it first I found it seems better able to maintain itself...
I gotta agree - my 089 is running a good 48 hours after the last wear...
and considering my laziness - I can't say its been fully wound anytime I wear it.

Congrats on a beautiful watch, it is high on my list and was the next in line.
I've heard the lume is pretty strong on it, how is yours?
I just got mine a couple of weeks ago and I'm surprised at how decent the lume is for a factory watch. I'm not even sure I am going to send it off for any kind of mod.
Great watch - great photos!

I only buy it for the articles - I don't look at the pictures...
oh wait - thats Playboy..

Both are great. But for me the anthracite dial takes the lead.
I have a thing with PAMs with the gray/anthracite dials (ala 106/170 or the GMT shown by u). But there seems like dealers don't like to carry them....
So if anyone comes across one, please let me know!
Cheers!
Ah the o-eight-nine Ti - I've been coveting it for months.

Pam 024 with A21j movement
takes a pretty good beating but cheap enough that I don't care.

The guilt only lasts until I actually receive the watch, swap out a quality strap and put it on...
Then I just have to be careful not to stare at it when i'm driving

*Must remember to place all watches in zip lock bags*
ooo - another item to add to my hurricane preparedness list.
Thanks!!
