Yes - that one is my bad...I totally expected that there would be some other people there to cover until I could get there. I have made apologies and offered pennance of personally buying Phoband a drink...or two...or ten.
I got there around 1pm after a 1/2 day of work (shultzie = CPA/February = tax season). Walking around with my watch case checking out wrists at all the tables and getting funny looks in return.
It was quiet for sometime after the last round of legal actions - but I read an article recently that spammers were noticeably more active recently due to new techniques and I have been getting quite a bit of spam as of late.
Oddly - I received my first spam for "replica watches" yesterday :yucky: "bestreplicas.com" or some such nonsense
I got my SMP 007 from Andrew some months back and its really a great rep - it took a little over a week to the States....of course it seemed like an eternity!
Actually - I thought I'd start out with a standard noob post:
"Hi - I saw a <well known watch title> on <internet auction site> and it was bidding for only $25. Could this be genuine?"
or maybe
"Has anyone had any experience with www.thebestswissreplicawatchesthissideofcanalstreethonesttrulynofooling.com? I went on their site and it looks like they have some quality watches"
or how about
"I HAD BAD EXPERIENCE WITH <respected RWG member/dealer>! I ORDERED MY WATCH YESTERDAY AND I DON'T HAVE IT YET!!"
and finally
"<Highly sought after watch brand> just came out with a new model last week! Does anyone have any reps of this?"
Thus endeth the introduction...thanks for your time!
Perfect analogy! I'm tossing out of my khaki's and button down and throwing on the jeans with the holes in the crotch and my workboots.
and thanks for the welcome
thanks!!!
I've been hanging around TRC for 3 years, but I am just now moseying my way into RWG. I look forward to taking part in deep, meaningful conversations and lively, intellectual debates...
