  1. Still the Davidsen 177h on Toscana, I cant take this thing off!!!
  2. LOL definitely not out of business. I know he has been harassed about the new dial quite abit, so I wouldn't suggest emailing him about it. Just sit tight, we were told mid to late march, so let's wait for that to come, then if we don't hear anything, maybe we can start harassing him
  3. Just go ahead and buy it.. love it.. and when you go to sell it... bam.. you made a few bucks!
  4. Definitely J12... unless you think she can pull off a Pam (my gf can). Then get a 40mm Pam for her..
  5. So I was talking with a fellow member the other day and he told me he was having trouble getting the crown to push back in after setting the time on his 111. After discussing it further, I realized he was trying to push it in by hand after setting the time. I told him that wind my watch, then pull it out and set the time, then close the crown guard lock and it pushes it back in for me. Well he thought that was just crazy, he said I am going to scratch it all up and mess up the crown. So, I am not Panerai expert, but is this not how everyone else closes their crown as well? I mean that is what its made for correct....... Wrist shot of my new Davidsen 177h And my old range holland and holland... oh how I miss her.. she was like a Panerai, limited edition 1 in 75..
  6. They are discussing it over at the 'risti as well....
  7. .... Good one......................................Wait are you serious?.................................................................You bought that?
  8. LOL I feel like the mediator/interpreter here... No Dylan, I believe TTK was joking...
  9. TTK - I think you did the same thing Bigshooter did to Aquaracer over at RWI. I don't think dylan is the one who did it, he is just relaying the post from Paneristi...
  10. IMO the Fiddy wears smaller than the 45 PO. The issue is the Fiddy's case ends right at (around) the 47mm mark, where as the PO's case is quite big, and will tend to "hang" over the edge of the wrist, which will lead to what Pug showed so well in his drawing......that is......the bracelet going "in" instead of "out". Wish I could find it...
  11. Looks great!! I have an overdue review to post about Denise's 183 I received too, and don't worry I havent forgot about you!! She was a complete pleasure to deal with. I'll get it up soon....
  12. LOL you must have tried on a rep than..... From IWC Website: "A tiny wooden disc is the feature that makes the 2500 watches in the Aquatimer Chronograph “Cousteau Divers” limited edition such a sought-after rarity. The wood was taken from the interior of what is probably the world’s most famous research vessel, the “Calypso”. For it was with her that “Commander” Jacques-Yves Cousteau spent so many years sailing the Seven Seas. The authentic mementos depict the ship in silhouette and are set in the watch’s solid steel back cover, where they are visible behind a sapphire glass." Oh and you to answer your question, it would serve the purpose of PRESERVING THE PRECIOUS, IRREPLACEABLE WOOD you just paid a sh*t load of money for.....
  13. I've bought from BOB before, but i have heard his merino collection is actually pretty thcik and dont really want the cheap ones...
  14. So I am looking for a thin (but still good quality) panerai strap. Dont ask why, I just like the straps fairly thin. I have an OF and Toscana, which aren't bad, but does anyone else have any other thinner ones? Never seen the Bob Vertigo, strapmasters or strap culture so didn't know if anyone know's (who has more straps than I do) which are good?
  15. LOL Is this how little computer "nerds" like yourself get your kicks... trying to belittle someone with words?
  16. And that is just so extremely mature coming from someone who is as concerned with etiquette as yourself.
  17. Useless? LOL .... Everything you spat upon this board has been exactly that... useless, outdated, overly conservative information..... about ETIQUTETTE of all things. It sure is a pressing issue in the world these days. And what does my member number have to do with anything??? Are you insinuating that because I am new to the board that I am uneducated or "dumb"? This topic has absolutely NOTHING to do with replica's and has gone so far off-topic it's ridiculous (thanks mostly to you I might add). So I would stop and think about what your saying before throwing some smug, ignorant comment up on the board.
  18. Ethan - I myself don't give a sh*t about your outdated, overly conservative fashion advice. If I want to wear my PO with a suit, I'm going to wear my damn PO with a suit, and thats that. No one will care, say anything, or do anything about it (except for fashion policia, like yourself). I agree with pug, that fashion etiquitte, like everything else in this world, becomes outdated... So honestly, save the GQ fashion advice for the Paneristi boards.... P.S. What does etiquette say about wearing replica watches?????
  19. Great resources. I've been thinking about getting one and that bond nato would look great on my 16610
  20. I'm definitely in, can't wait for the spring and warm weather so I can get back out there.. Too bad work takes up too much of my time....
  21. Dcrooz - congrats, looks great. I got the back off and started to go for the movement the other day , but nothing was wrong with it so I thought I better not dig in just yet... but expect to get some PM's from me if that happens to my 4th gen !!
  22. Something similar to this is happening with my PO and my 183.... Not really sure why cause they are both very new??
  23. Most accurate rep huh? I'd much rather A) Get the Ultimate PO and have $1200 cash in my pocket or Get a used gen PO <---much more accurate
  24. You didn't even have to do a search to see this topic being discussed....
