Great build.
Now you need gen hands and then you have the best Sub Rep on earth.
Ssteel can make them fit on eta movements.

I would buy a pair of gen hands as well.
Ssteel can make them fit on Eta movements

Here you go
OMG
This looks too cool
-
I´d buy the 15400 Miyota Version (I think it´s made by Z-Factory).
It is almost as high as the Gen version and the bezel screws are sunken
-
I agree.
The price is very nice.
A replacement clasp costs around 250€, replacement crystal 100€ and a replacement insert 35€.
So you could spend that and have a like new watch.

In my opininion the watch is definately Gen.
Dial, Crownguards, Crown Position, diameter of Lugholes look/are gen.
I think its just the angle of the pics that make pearl look strange.
If the price is low, it will be a bargain, maybe it's a stolen watch

Well, this is gonna be expensive.
I saw a DJII Dial some time ago for sale.
It was priced at 800€.
And I think the bracelet definately will cost more than 1000€.
The Gen fluted bezel is Made of whitegold.
So it's extremely expensive too.
Furthermore it is almost impossible zu find these parts.

Thanks for your answers, guys
Well, in the end I got a good deal on a TC YM with Swiss ETA and gen crystal
It's a really nice watch.

The upper Part of the clasp does look good.
It is a Little Bit loose.

Guys sorry for posting in such an old thread.
But I didn't want to open a new topic.
I want to purchase a Yachtmaster and I'm pretty unsure which one to get.
Whats the better purchase?
I won't frankening this watch.
Which dial and bezel is more accurate?

Yes, it´s a TC Superclone.
I´m located in Dortmund, Germany.
It´s the hometown of Uwe (Fine_DD).
He said to me that it´s probably the date jumper (without inspection because I wanted to ask you guys first before I let him work on it).
That helps a lot.
Thank you

Hey guys,
unfortunately I am having problems with my TC Movement.
Ich think my date jumper does not work anymore / is destroyed.
So here is my question:
Does the TC movement take genuine ETA spare parts or do I have to buy an ETA 2824 for it? -.-

Hi!
The TC is 16610. So the watch has needs a painted aluminium insert.
The ceramic insert is only for the 116610 Subs which TC does Not offer.
-
Cadell insert for lower Budget.
But a genuine is still much better.
-
This watch looks superb in my eyes.
Yes, it's a allblackconcept watch (found it in Instagram).
DLC coating is very expensive.
I would like to know someone who's doing that for 50$.
FineDD's DLC coating incl. the bracelet is about 350€.

The best bet is to know someone who owns a genuine Submariner because the inserts sell for 45€ (that's what I Pay here in Germany at an AD).
The prices for these inserts in NOS condition are crazy.
If you don't know someone you could try Ebay or TCs insert.
-
it also seems to have lume on around the rehaut is that exclusive to the model as well

No, that is just a reflection of the crystal.
But you are right, the gen's lume is definately better.

Thanks Max. What do you mean by trying to find a MBW (not MBW)? The MBW CG's will also need touching up as well so no big win there. And you still end up with the wrong SN and the beautifully engraved Polex. Phong charges $300 to correct this so add that to the cost. As far as the MBW's case I think it's a great case depending on the build and what you wish to achieve. The only real big issue to me is the low crown position and to accept a 1570 the case will need machine work further adding to the cost. I have a 94110 based in a MBW case being built now by PBdad then to JMB and I love it. Just understand the limitations each brand offers.

I'm sorry, it was my Auto correct.
MBW watches (Marias Best watches) differ from MBK watches.
Unfortunately I can't tell the exact differences

Well, I guess it's a V5.
I bought it when he ran out of LN dial stock in June.
So my watch came with 10 not so perfect LN dials and in parts.
He wrote to me that it's a V5.
But i think the case is an older one because it does not have the stubby CG problem.
And yes, the gen crystal is flatter on my gen.

Hey guys!
This is my very first post here.
I´m more active at RWI.
I thought it is a good idea to start my "RWG carrier" with this comparison.
I would like to show you my new TC Sub (bought unassembled) with gen insert in comparison to my genuine 16610LV (Z-serial).
I am very happy with my TC Sub.
Fortunately mine does not have the stubby crown guards.
The TC Sub is really nice.
Especially the shape of the crown guards and the DWO are spot on
Now guys, please enjoy the pics

These pictures definitely convinced me
A damn nice watch! -

I'm in the same shoes as you are and I've decided to go with Yuki. I've read up on the case issues of the more recent production. But I think those reviews were pushing 4 years old now, so maybe something is different. I would be happy to go with the MBW, but the serial engravings and Polex is a deal breaker for me as I want this accurate.

I heard about the yuki cases for the ref. 5513/1680 that they are overpriced because the CGs have still for 600$ the wrong shape.
The best bet is trying to find a MBW (not MBW) and use it as a base.

Very nice watch.
What do you think about the quality of the rep strap?
Is it better to swap it for another one?
