  1. Looks nice! I almost bought a gen rubber strap for my 4th edition Planet Ocean, but decided against it when I learned it would cost me about what I paid for the watch itself. I did get a rep rubber strap from a friend which was nice, but it wasn't a year old before it started to tear in a few places. I'll be interested to know how well the gen rubber straps hold up, because they sure look nice when they fit properly.

  2. I'm still liking my Planet Ocean alot, but I think I'll be needing a waterproof watch for the summer. I've been looking at different gen quartz watches but I haven't decided on anything yet. The reason I was thinking of quartz is beacuse I would be wairing my PO as my daily beater (6 days a week) and I don't have a winder. If anybody has any suggestions on an affordable gen quartz sports watch let me know.

By the way miquel, whats the old gen Tag been up to?

  3. Hey guys, this is my first post on RWG but I've been a member for over a year now. Actually I was a member on the old forum for a month or two before the big move. Anyways just thought I'd share a picture of my Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean with everybody. I love the watch and it keeps great time. I've had it for close to a year now and the only trouble I've had was with the bracelet. In short, it was junk. It broke after only a few weeks. No worries though, my friend (Miquel on the forums, who got me into rep watches) gave me an Omega rubber strap to use on it. That worked great for a while before I completely destroyed it. Now I'm using a black NATO style strap and I love it. I've managed to ding up the bezel a bit, but what the hell, it adds character. I'm not much of a photographer, but I hope guys like the picture.
