Is there supposed to be an etched coronet at 6 o'clock or not? Can't seem to find a straight answer on the Gen Rolex forums. I know this group is more informed!

Yep meant Oyster. Doh!

Had an email from Josh...Skyfall AT should be ready in June

OK, I know this watch is pretty "vanilla" to many here but I think it looks amazing and perfect for my semi-thin wrist and business suits. At 45 I can pull off the ruse...this is a watch I might actually afford. .
I did a search here before buying and can only thank those who recommended a SS DJ as "pretty damn convincing right out of the box" (or words to that effect). There is an etched coronet in the crystal but it is very subtle and takes some searching to spot. I've seen some other reps where it is way too obvious and clearly not a gen.
Also can only echo the great comments I read about Josh. Super service, answered emails within 20-30 mins. Not sure about the QC but his QC pics email said the following:
Due to the fact we are offering the stringent QC checks and assurance to our customers with photos sent and waterproofing service done, we will like the customers to take note of the below rules that govern every sale from our webstore:
...For waterproofing done on watches above USD200, please note that you should follow the Watches Q&A on how to make sure crown and caseback is secured tightly before coming in contact with water. All chronograph watches that is waterproofed can come in contact with water but NO ACTIVATION of chronograph pushers while under water because the rubber seals will allow water to seep in during such an action done. If you need to time the event .. Activate before you take the dip. We do not cover such water damage.
Sounds convincing and he sent me a personal email that all watches (..."are pressure tested before delivery sir"). May still consider having Dom do a preventative maintenance service and waterproofing just to sleep better as I'd like to wear in the pool and shower. The entire watch - and esp the new Jubilee bracelet - has great "feel" and I honestly feel this rep has the same quality feel as my friend's Rolex (although a Sub).
FWIW I live in Spain and had zero problems with Spanish/EU customs. Sent by Josh in plastic bag/bubble wrap/styro box/brown cardboard. He runs a good outfit. Attached is a pretty c*ap iPhone wristy.
Thanks again for the good advice on a great rep to go with and on using Josh. Will be back there as soon as he has the new Skyfall AT ;-)

Yes, PC (Josh) is down. I'm in same boat as you. Want to track my order but no go.

Hi Randy, the versions of that watch are pretty poor atm but could be looking better in the future following the planet ocean release.
Keep an eye on this thread it should fill you in:

Stan is wbk, check the dealers/collectors section. tbh, if you want one of the cheaper ones go for it but they are far from good, even for cheap reps.
Added the following to the thread you were kind enough to provide above.
Just had a mail from Josh re the Bond Skyfall AT:
"This is in the making...
ThanksJoshuaPerfect Clones"If they get this right - hell, semi-right (no happy feet) - I'm all over it!

I'm a big James Bond fan and I really like the looks of the AT so I figures I would wait till someone produces this. Well I may just get a close enough AT and try to make it a close as possible with parts.
Update - Just had a mail from Josh re the Bond Skyfall AT:
"This is in the making...
ThanksJoshuaPerfect Clones" -
About to pull the trigger on a black dialed DJ (and white ExpII) Should I also budget some money for Domenico to AR the Datejust? I have decided to send to him for waterproofing anyway so it would be the extra money not the extra 2 mos! Thank you.

Would love to get veteran's view on the "Waterproof to 30m... Pressure Tested at Factory Level" claim on Trusty's - and assume other - sites:.
1) yep, waterproof...leave as is
2) maybe, pay USD 50 extra for the TD to test for you or
3) none of the above! Send it to Uwe or someone else for the piece of mind.
Any new owner experiences from their first weeks/days?
Thanks much.

Thx very much cougar1. The link to the other thread was quite helpful. Think I'll wait and see if an improved Bond-inspired AT is produced.

Hi all,
New to this forum and this is my first post so apologies if the answer is here somewhere right in front of my nose. I'm looking to buy a good replica Seamaster Aqua Terra Mid Size (231.10.39.21.03.001). Loved it in Skyfall. Guess my price range would be €150-€300.
Can some experienced hands recommend a good replica dealer? I've read posts about "Stan" and other names but I have no idea what dealers they refer to. A link to their website would be great. I would like a water resistant model. FWIW, I live in the EU.
Thanks in advance, Randy

Don't know about Andrew but can vouch for Josh. Good guy and responds within minutes. I believe their product offerings (and their website descriptions, photos, etc) are identical. Prices may vary a bit. Josh (Perfect Clones) website recently changed so the one I posted some weeks ago is dead (or rather it takes you to a lawsuit notice from Chanel!).
