i love AP because they are one of the heaviest brands but still not as boring as VC or patek. i think ap is young and cool, thats what i like

then i guess you havent seen these before yes they dont have that many complicated models as UN, but i would say these models are quite an archievment and comparable to UN but designwise and concept of course different well in the end its a matter of taste and different points of view ...

UN seems to appeal the people who have passion, interest to seas,boats and ships. my dad(not a watch guy) got friends who are ex-captains (like himself) or ship,yacht owners and i've actually seen couple of UN's on their wrists, mostly blue colored maxi marine or similar type..all rather conservative people...and nowhere else i've ever saw a UN on anyones wrist...the brand got a "captains-watch" concept, like yachtmaster but whole brand i wouldnt put UN in same class or even compare to Patek and AP. UN is more like corum, a special brand.patek,ap more commerical and higher end.. but i personally prefer neither brand over AP, i find the design of UN and corum little tacky. i love AP, its highest end but still has a young and cool character

lol, cheap quartz movements usually more accurate than mechanicals why some people are so stinkydumb and low i feel sad for the guy

yes hublot has gator straps for bigbang. but where the strap connects the watch is rubber, because there are only 2 thin screws holding the strap so leather could be destroyed after time. similar to AP straps with metal inside i think it will be very hard to make it, you need to find a maker who is dedicated to hbb aftermarket straps or just buy the gen strap, IMO. btw imho, gator strap would look weird on HBB

i've bought the malte chrono for a friend and i must it really looks and feels like a 10k watch in real (except strap) i think also its the most accurate compared to other 2

i dont think hands issue is that bad, i had to look for it to see it. the watch is actually more accurate than i thought, im not into gold but this one looks amazing

i think i can give you a gooood advice on this there are also forums about audio stuff for audiophiles, best forum for headphones btw, there are earbuds and in-ear-monitors(IEM) difference is earbuds are open and IEM's are closed earbuds are mainly cheap and using dynamic drivers (i.e. sony,sennheiser) IEM's are sound monitors which are used by musicians,singers in studios with custom cases (they are 1000$+) but you can find similar quality IEM's with universal cases for about 100-500$ spend some time if you are interested, but i must tell you, just like watches, there is no best, sound is subjective and it all depends on what sound signature you like i got a shure 530, most advanced IEM of shure with 3 armature drivers (1xmid,high 2x low/bass), paid 500€ retail price 2yrs ago here but it can be had for much cheaper from internet, especially in usa i have tried many most expensive IEM's of almost every brand (UltimateEARS TripleFI 10pro, Westone 3 etc.) but ended up selling them from experience i can say for shure530: it has lush sound signature (warm but not dark), best midrange ever heard, slightly recessed highs and clean,big,punchy bass wide detailed soundstage if you never heard an IEM before you will be for sure blown away instantly anyway this is the EQ settings i use, best sound ever for me

i prefer perpetual calendar with tourbillion but i also prefer to get some $$$ first

first thing i noticed is that skeleton part of the dial is not that good ( the part of the skeleton dial where the AP logo sitting is too large) not counting the shallow datewindow and sec@9, looks OK to me..

last one is pretty cool

any watch with screws on or around the bezel looks like copied from AP to me and too bad they dont look on wrist as nice as they look on watch stand under lights, IMO

most comfortable: any rolex except DSSD,SD. least comfortable: HBB,APROO
