hi all,
some forum systems allow you to change your username and i was wondering if this is possible on RWG?
i usually use OrangeSpoon online and would like to bring my RWG account into line with that
cheers,

Well, if the price stay around 250 usd, its a 1/4 of the price... And sometimes i think is better use a rep of a mid-range watch (like aquaracer and seamaster) than a rep of a 50k and limited series...that u obviously never have money to buy.
BTW beautifull watch. I seen on a AD sometime ago.
+1

Is it due to the printing the day/ date sometimes are crooked? Did you do this mod yourself? How did it turn out?
try a forum search for 'ETA date wheels'
the quality of printing can be a very marked improvement from the photos i have seen posted on the forums
not sure if thats the only problem fixed by them though
i may find out more if i decide to upgrade my aquaracer when it arrives
-
Just a warning... This watch is a candidate for sunken datewheel problem.
Nope, I have not seen the rep but I can predict it will happen (due to extra gear to make Tricompax layout on Asian 7750).
cheers, don't think there is a high quality rep of this out there yet though
its in my top three for potential gen buy one day, if i can get a good price for one of my kidneys
-
as always, thanks for a great summary of the Tag reps
your tips on Omega worked a treat for me on my first purchase last year
have just ordered an Aquaracer (Black Asian Chrono RS) from Andrew
now the painful wait begins
-
...
Now i'm thinking whether to get the white link chrono quartz or the one here (cause its cheap and quartz!) http://www.watchsilix.com/product.asp?id=1786
...
thats not going to be a very nice watch mate, it'll be up there with bangkok street market rubbish at that price
a casio would look better
-
can i just get this out of my system please....
phwaoor!

Josh's site is showing this:

I'm hoping for these to come shortly: http://www.prestigetime.com/item.php?item_id=7533
http://www.prestigetime.com/item.php?item_id=7532
yes, the gens can be had for under 2k but super nice...
very very nice
been waiting for those

let me know what he quotes you for a black rubber strap, cuz I've never worn mine other than to try it on, see what I thought.. etc.... never outside.
I'll sell you mine if you want.
Andrew aint cheap for top version of this model, but from previous experience with him, I should get a good watch
definitely want black face i'm afraid
-
You guys are confirming my original thoughts, I think the stainless is the way to go indeed.
By-Tor mentioned the polished middle links (either here or in the wristcheck thread) and as subtle as they are they do make a statement.
sorry to revive an old post but i def think a black dial works with RS but blue should be with SS
doing a little research as i am going to go for a Black RS Asia 7750 model from Trusty
had a 42mm Orange PO SS for a while (got stolen in a break-in)
i loved that watch but it was always too dressy for day to day, attracts too much attention from scally scum
the low key look with RS may be just what i am after
-
very nice!
i am tempted to get another UPO now, my last (from trusty) was stolen in a break-in last year
couldn't claim for it on the insurance for obvious reasons
-
I just ordered my first Omega.
...When I bought my first rep this summer (a Breitling Navitimer) you guys said it would not be my last. You were absolutely right....
How long does it usually take for Andrew's stuff to arrive? I've never ordered through him before.
heh heh, i know the feeling, its been a year since my first purchase due to life being busy but i have been thinking of my next purchase ever since
Andrew is reliable, to UK it takes a few weeks sometimes due to the odd customs issue, not sure about US
i'm eyeing up a PO chrono at the moment
-
i feel we deserved more out of that
i'm not too down as we did the UK proud, unlike the toffees
-
Seriously TT, take care
Even if you're not in the Shed End, and 'undercover' (no wearing anything Red) if Liverpool score or Fat Frank/Didier LadyBoy dives for a penalty or something similar and you blow your cover, you'll be removed by the stewards....and that's the best case scenario, it could get ugly
yup officially you aren't meant to be there so be on your guard for the stewards and if the game turns against the russians the chelskis are likely to report you if they have doubts
-
I'm going to the 'bridge for the first leg tonight.......COME ON YOU REDS!!!!!!!!
i'm going to be surrounded by chelski supporters in the pub
doesn't matter cause we are going to ruin their night!!
COME ON LADS!

you can fix the diver's clasp by taking a screwdriver, put it between the prongs, and push the two prong things outward to give it some good friction.
...
thanks for the advice, i will try this, its a cleaner solution
-
sounds like i have had some luck
i will say though that the strap is a little disappointing, i think its more due to my dislike of its design in general, the gen SMP strap is much better, even my

Contact Andrew - he'll get the correct insert for ya.
thanks for the info
-
Wear it well. I have the black version and it's a great watch. One thing that bothered alot of people with this version is the placement of the Omega symbol (previously, it was not corretly positioned - too closed to the word Omega). But your's seem to be positioned correctly.
Question - on your insert using the pic above, is there only side of the black triangle with the orange outline?
thanks
yeah only one side of the triangle has the orange outline which is a shame but doesnt stand out in practice really
i think the tach 'ticks' covering the first 15 of the bezel sort of distract the eye from that
-
Crown at 3 is OK ???
Looks a bit out unless unscrewd.
yup i left it unscrewed by mistake
-
Its the nickel plated ETA, in my experience a really nice smooth movement thats going great for me for over 6 months. My "favorite" movement!
thats good to hear, cheers!
i forgot to mention for those interested in getting one of these that the lume seems very good to me and meets the expectations generated by ByTor's great review
