Awesome project Al !
-
Now now P, the sheared lamb joke has gone on long enough, carried over from RWI and now its getting old...... artytime:
But for the sake of correcting you, I would reckon you need at least 3 sheared lambs, one to feed the croc, one to hold on to as a float and one to trade with me for my "ultra secret mod"..
Lmao true bro. but we could start the sheep trend here. lol

Hey P not really buddy Mike very kindly offered to buy it for the raffle.
Message crafted while wrestling a juvenile crocodile that's unwilling to be captured and made into leather
lol that does not sound like a very healthy exercise Al. You can safely distract the juvenile croc with the sheared lamb I offered you as a sacrificial tribute. lol
Very nice of mike to offer the very best of modded AP out there for the raffle.

Wow Al, you are just too generous!
-
Amazing! Now our frankens will be even harder to tell!!
-
Pete, awesome wristy and great intro to the current offering. I myself is on the fence about the 055.. actually on the fence about the color choice.;-)
I've got two other RMs and they are, as you've said, far from being accurate but it looks great on the wrist. Besides no one knows about RM unless very knowledgeable about top of the line luxury watch. I enjoy mine a lot. Sometimes even more so than my APs. Lol
-
Thank you Mike for taking the initiative in supporting our dear friend.
-
I am glad to hear from Al despite his grievance and at the same time deeply saddened to imagine his feelings while telling us how he is..
Al you are a truly strong man and we know you'll pull through.
We, as friends, will be with you until you are through with managing affairs and beyond. You and your familiy will be in my prayers.
-
I am very saddened and shocked by Al's loss. No words will adequately describe the pain and nothing will comfort my friend, Al, but I sincerely hope he finds his strength in time of such a tragic loss.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Al.

5001 is a lovely piece. I receive so many compliments. Of course the rep is so off I wouldn't dare buy it. If they come out with the correct sub dial position, I'm definately pulling the trigger

Some people are hopelessly idiotic. . Good thing you didn't slap the 'federal employee' in so 'sensitive federal' building!!He gave me some spiel about buying a certificate of mailing & i told him i didn't want any of that so he went to get a supervisor
The supervisor said it was okay and he took pics before mailing himself so this idiot clerk had to let me take a pic
But not before he told his supervisor he wanted to talk to him later
This happened a coupla years ago with another dumb clerk, she gave me some story about not taking pictures in a federal building to which I said I'm not taking pics of the building, just this bloody package !!
-
That watch is way too cool! :-D
-
What?! They charged you for taking a picture of your own package? ?They'll ship it to me for free
If you like i can buy em in 10.5 and forward them to you at cost after delivery
as it is I wanna go back to my local PO and slap the clerk who tried to charge me a dollar & change for taking a picture of my package after I paid for it
One slap in the face is not enough!!
-
I always buy from Puretime. Other TDs are good but PT never failed to deliver or dodge on their mistakes. They give you what they said they'll give you. Simple and precise.
-
I'm great Al, and you?Hey P.. long time no speak, how you doing mate?
You know, that wristy is so epic that your wrist is going to be my phone's background. Lol
-
I love the Z- GP ;-D
Envy you!

I'd recommend one with faux PR. More accurate to original than V2 with working PR

+1000Sounds like reasonable reasons to reject Dutchy, reject till your patience runs out or the dealers..................
But usually dealer's patience runs out after 3 times on average. Lol

Yea those shots are rediculous but those photos were intended to be funny. Not the wristy of the actual owners.
What i gathered from looking at all those photos is that it's not the wrist size but upperbody dimention that dictates if this watch suits any particular person. For example Arnie does not have +9inch wrist and Sly is not a overwhelmingly a big person. Probably not even 6ft tall.
I saw a wristy of a member in gen forum who is about 5.8" and has a wrist of 6.75 and it fits perfect on him. (He has a good musclular upperbody from the pic)
I am an Asian but 6ft tall 185 pounds. Thick upper frame too. That's why even a bretling Super Avenger (SA)look ok on me. (People even warned me about the SA for its rediculous size. So i don't believe a word until i actually have it on my wrist. Beside, most people who actually own them seem to be pretty happy with wearing it.
-
No it's a desk clock on strap! LolThat's a seriously big watch. Definitely skirts the line between timepiece and diving ballast!
I've never seen one posted here, but I'm keen to see it. Be sure to post some pics if you get it!
-
Ok. Here are some pics i stole from the net.
Since i'm asking Egi owners for the advise, i thought pictures are not necessary... but, i guess i might as well entertain everyone else with it too. :-)
So, For people not familiar with the term egi,
It's proper name is Pam 341 Egiziano.
So here they come;
Some comparison shots and funny wristies ;-D
