  1. All the sec@12 AP ROO are from Noob factory, and the limited edition APs are notoriously out of stock... Don Ramon, Montoya, Las Vegas etc I would probably consider another rep in the meantime and wait for it to pop up on M2M or till they come back in stock
  2. i'm 6.7 inches and took off only 2 links, you can take off another 4-5
  3. I had a Parnis DSSD that was definitely from BP fac. Didn't get a chance to look under the hood, but it was described as having a Sea-Gull mvt, and was silky smooth when I wound it
  4. This one doesn't fix the date window issue, but comes with the extra thin 2892 movement that makes it closer to gen in terms of thickness and the rotor http://puretime.co/product/big-bang-classic-fusion-45mm-pvdpvd-black-dial-black-rubber-a2892/
  5. BP: 11mm New version: 10.09mm Gen: 9.8mm The upcoming Miyota version most likely will be thinnest/closest to gen as the 9015 is 3.9mm thick compared to a2824 which is 4.5 or 4.6mm can't remember exactly. I do wonder why Angus didn't opt for the 2892 which are already in some reps
  6. The one available atm is from the BP maker with the rehaut issue The one pictured above is from the maker who made the Calibre de Cartier with correct subdial positioning and some other tourbillon reps. More details of it will be released in a few days, though what has been said so far is that the bracelet is quite good and the cote de geneve decoration on the 2824 movement looks much more like gen than the BP version. The other version that Angus is more heavily involved with, is the one with the Miyota 9015 movement being made by the LW case maker but is still 5-6 months away. It's main advantage is the thinness of the movement (the other versions aren't true to gen in terms of thickness)
  7. Great tutorial from Klockis on RWI http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/new-bp-maker-151893.html
  8. - How good is the quality of Hublot BBs Reps ? (In their "best-editions") v6 - What about the weight? Like gen? 145 grams to 165 grams. Reps of precious metals (eg, gold) will be lighter than gen - What about GEN Parts? I already read that i can change the parts (like Rolex Sub's). But is this really possible? Are there some Stores to search the Parts? Because i want to buy a GEN Dial, but only then, if the rep is sooo bad. I've never heard of people replacing the dial, nor any other parts on the rep except the strap - Do I have to change some parts, or looks it really like Gen? At which parts you can see the Rep? Maybe the strap for comforts sake
  9. Assuming it uses a DLC gold finish as the makers claim it does, it should be better lasting than usual plating on other gold reps. I recall someone doing a test on the gold finish, and it stood up quite well. I too want a Montoya, but still waiting for it to be back in stock Other than that, perhaps the new 15400 by BP makers that's already out or the two other makers who haven't released theirs yet
  10. @Octagonpeg Given what you just said, it seems like you're the type to raise PayPal disputes and chargebacks with dealers. This is NOT acceptable on any of the rep fora, and can lead to banning across all the forums and blacklisting by all dealers Yes sure you may not be able to get your money back immediately if there is a problem, but that is why there are mods who will hold more sway in resolving issues than any rash dispute through credit card companies. Excuse me if I assumed wrong, but PayPal is only for convenience, not as an avenue for securing "recourse"
  11. Ken Bergies, Saed (Supermirrors) and Watch Eden all do rep clothes/jewelry/footwear/bags and general fashion items, as do some other dealers. Some of them dabble in rep electronics too like Beats headphones, and replica Vertu and Android phones as well
  12. In the rep game, it's better to assume all sites not listed on the Trusted Dealers list is a scam site, and indeed you did go to a scam site pretending to be Josh's old website.
  13. For women, a lot of them just don't want to be bothered with the whole idea of winding a watch, setting it etc etc. To them it's more a fashion piece than any sort of horological interest. That said, like the others have said, i'd avoid rep diamonds, not only do they look cheap, they're also extremely tacky. I too would take a look at some ladies quartz Classic Fusion. Some other notes regarding Hublot: The HBB v6 rep is hands down the best and closest to gen (though probably not suitable for your missus) The only Hublots that come in quartz are non-chrono 38mm Big Bangs and the Classic Fusion, what you linked before is a fantasy model Classic Fusion reps come in 38mm, 42mm (rare) and 45mm (most common and more accurately repped than the other CFs)
  14. I've heard rumours of v4s since the v3 was released around end of 2011 sometime...
  15. Okay this is how everything works in a nutshell... Replicas all come from China, 'factories' make them and dealers sell them. You have a huge list of Trusted Dealers here. Decide on the watch you want, do some research on it, and after you think you've done enough research, do some more research. After that, read reviews on the dealers, email some of them maybe, and pick one (pretty much every TD can get you the watch you want - you're buying the dealer, not the watch). Do more research. Post questions on here if need be. Pay. Get your watch. Post nice photos. There is are tremendous amounts of great information on these boards, all the info is here, no one is going to hold your hand through all this.
  16. Check out some of 'theflyingdutchman's post over at the other RWG, he's got a heap load of RG HBB!
  17. Chinese mail tracking, be it China Airmail or EMS or whatever is horrendously horrible. I wouldn't bother following it Australia's postal service doesn't offer affordable tracking services for international parcels. It's something around $70-80 for tracked internatinal parcles to the EU. If you paid around $20 for postage, you probably have registered post (non-trackable), which is the next best thing after aforementioned
  18. Michelle @ Silix is doing it cheaper if you're interested: http://www.silix-prime.so/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=116_205_214&products_id=2043
  19. You will need special a special H screwdriver to get that off. You have 4 options for this: Offshore @ Watch Bitz has a screwdriver for $4.80 + shipping http://watchbitz.com.au/shop/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=238 Puretime has one for $30 (unsure about shipping), but I assume any dealer can get you one http://puretime.co/product/special-screw-driver-for-hublot-big-bang/ Plenty on ebay, usually from someone from Greece Or use a regular spring bar removal tool - that said though, you will need to be very careful with this, because while the tool may fit, it's not a snug fit like the others, and you may find the tool slipping and causing you more grief As for an aftermarket strap, if you or anyone can find one, i'll be eternally grateful! I've spent a long time looking for one myself
  20. All dealers can get you pretty much the same stuff. Remember, you're buying the dealer, not the watch
  21. Shock system Deep clean looking engraving on the rotor ETA logo seems good Tactile feedback when winding it may also be a good indicator. An ETA is silky smooth (though even if it not, it might just be a QC thing) My money is on swiss
  22. Tell-tale signs of a scam site Genuine Pictures No replica is 1:1, using a genuine picture that an authorised dealer would use is only a sure sign that the site is misrepresenting what they're selling. Adding their own little watermark to genuine pictures does not fix this either. Replicas being made in Switzerland or Japan Or any other country that isn't China is complete rubbish, if they're going to lie to you about this, it's likely they're going to lie to you about what they will be doing with your money Movement description No replica (bar a few exceptions) are going to have the same movement as what you find in the genuine (HUB4100, Calibre 2121, 3187, other in-house movements etc). And if they're going to describe the movement as just "Automatic" or anything along the lines of that's just no good. You'll find some of the more common movements that are used in reps in the Resource Centre: http://www.rwgforum.net/forum/208-resource-center/ Price A simple automatic (21J) or Quartz will be in the $100 range A clone of a Swiss movement will be in the $200-$300 range A working mechanical chronograph (7750/7753) are $300+ Of course this is just a very general overview of price, but if it's too good to be true, it most likely is, and if it's too anything like $1000+, it's most likely a scam, you're not getting better quality or anything closer to gen by paying that much more. Testimonials With the full weight of four massive replica forums with tens of thousands of members each, a proper replica dealer will not need bullsh*t testimonials (probably written by them) to sell their watches. The same goes for 'Review' sites of those webpages (again probably written by them as well) - you have an enormous repository of information here written by thousands upon thousands of members, everything else shouldn't be trusted Other Ridiculous claims: 1:1 quality AAA+ Swiss made Waterproof to same as gen Ability to fool authorised dealers Working minute repeaters, perpetual calendars, automatic tourbillons, solid gold (or other precious metals) Some more outrageous claims are expanded on here http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/119955-the-top-10-lies-about-replica-watches/ Ultimately however, these are all just indicators of a scam site, even if a website does not show signs of above, it doesn't mean it's safe to shop there. But, there is one super easy way to tell if a website/dealer is trusted - and that's if they're on here: TRUSTED DEALERS Common (silly) reasons people want to shop at any other sites 1) They have a watch that the other TDs don't have There are many reasons for this and does not mean a trusted dealer can't get it for you. It may just not be popular enough or repped well enough to be put on their sites or section, or it might just not be repped at all. Find a dealer (after lots of research) and send them a photo of what you want. They'll be able to tell if they're able to get it for you. 2) They have a better price Scam website's supposedly better price will most likely be at the expense of quality of features, that or it's purposely placed low to draw you away from the trusted dealers so they can take your money. 3) They ship from the same country I live in Only a handful of dealers ship from outside East Asia (eg. Narikaa) where they will personally travel to those countries and bring them back, otherwise, if they claim to ship from the US or UK etc, they most likely will not be - anyone can get a .uk or .us domain name.
  23. No detail on type of movement and case material, fake testimonials, overpriced, and same people as iparadisac. TRUSTED DEALERS! http://www.rwgforum.net/forum/230-watches-clothing-accessories/
  24. Don't listen to Josh and Andrew about anything Noob related. There's a long story behind it, but essentially they don't like each other and can't get their products as easily as other dealers.
