It is a yuki insert, polished to make it a bit lighter in color. I think I used an old pearl I had in my drawer from a cartel 5513 sub.

I'm in two minds whether to age my insert, love the look of yours, or leave it. Definitely have to get a new acrylic pearl for it though.

I think I'm with you.

I'm going to rule out the 42mm Explorer II.

I'm on the verge of ruling out the 39mm Explorer as well. As much as I want a white dial SS Explorer II.

I agree with you on the 42mm PO, it looks great. I'd prefer my first purchase to have a GMT hand though.

The PAM 026K I'm in love with and will be the exception having no GMT.

What were your thoughts on the Pro Hunter GMT? I'm leaning towards it at the moment, as it looks good with a nato strap as well.

I have both the Pro Hunter GMT on nato and the PAM 026K. Both nice watches but very different in terms of style, at the moment the 026 gets more wrist time.

You probably shouldn't expect to see anything till mid February due to Chinese New Year, most of the country shuts down.

From what I understand most of the larger TD's like Andrew do not post themselves. Once the QC pics have been approved they then pass the watch onto a forwarding agent who then along with dozens of other parcels takes them to be posted be it with DHL, EMS or Fedex.

If the tracking isn't active then it's probably not left Andrew or his forwarder and hasn't been received by the courier which could mean your watch may not move now for a few weeks.

Other members may have experienced different though.

I agree, you can see the difference in quality just in the photos, you'll notice it even more in real life. Listed above are your reasons why it's half the price. I also have used Trusty Time and you will receive great service and a decent rep, it's worth spending that little extra for the quality.

I can't say for sure whether there are many obvious tells on this as opposed to gen, it's a rep I've had my eye on for some time tho.

Some people swear by eta others say that asian clone with a service is just as good and reliable. There are probably some good pros and cons with each.

As long as your happy with it I wouldn't worry too much.

As far as I'm aware the 168.022 number refers to the case/model number of the watch, the calibre number just refers to the movement used.

To be on the safe side change dates before 8pm and after 4am so the auto date change mechanism is not engaged. I always set mine around 6am

That just applicable to A7750 movements or everything? I can't say I've ever taken much notice with mine that have a date.
