  1. Check up Siro1981 that the alignment of the number is correct. It is not easy to compare how correct the sliderule on the picture. Ask for new pictures with the slide ruler in 1*1 position. ME
  2. Yepp. take a look at the site mentioned above. You will need some patience to learn to use the slide ruler but it is not difficult. And it is very cool! (I had a Chase Durer with the same function. Very cool!) It is quite easy to multiply and divide. In the default position it will be showing the list of 1*1=1, 1*2=2 etc.... The red "10" on slide ruler is pointing to red "10" on dial. Then the red "60" is on top/12. (If these are not corresponding the calculations will of course not be correct! Follow the scale on the dial to "20". That is some past 6 o'clock. Now the 20 will show the calculation 2*1=2 (2 is multiplied with 1 because it is turned to 10 on the red marked 10 on the dial). Look up to "35" on the dial (about 9 o'cloc). That will be 3,5 * 1 = 3,5 (read out on the outer slide ruler again!) Now turn the slide ruler so the inner mark red 10 is pointing to 20. Then you will have 1*2=2 on the "10" mark. Do it backwards and you will diviIde! There you have the basic! Have fun and learn more! (But it requires the slide ruler is correct) Good luck!! ME
  3. Cool! You should try to use it again then! Today it is even more cool to use! It is a really show-factor! Nobody can even guess that you can do calculations with your wristwatch! It is far more cool than using the calculator on your mobile phone! Try! (But you will need a slide ruler that is correct!) ME
  4. Thanks for good update. Easy to spot this when you know! ME
  5. I can see that the E6B beazel is not correct. It is not aligned with the red marks. Easy way to spot a rep and you will not be able to make (correct) calculations with it! ME
  6. Sorry to read this Cats! Take good care of your family! Best wishes. ME
  7. These days music is Within Temptation; "The Unforgiving"! I love that record! Tobias Sammet's Avantasia; "The Mystery of Time" is also quite frequent... ME
  8. Bad pictures = reps! Too often that is the fact.... ME
  9. The chrono SMP is a really heavy thing. It does not look that tough on the pictures. The "normal Bond model" is smoother on your wrist. If you want a gen, they are cheap in quartz models. (Quite close to a rep-chrono!) The ones with out chrono are very slim and fits very well! Any way. The models here are very nice classical watches. ME
  10. OBS! sorry to hear about your problems Olly116610! Some times it is the best to do everything yourself.... Then you know the quality! ME
  11. Nice watch. But what about a gen? ME
  12. Domi is a trustfull guy. But regaring the work with "gen dial and A7750", you might meet some real challenges. The space between the needles/dials are different... But you should ask Domi! He might have other good suggestions for you! May be some gen hands could be funny? ME
  13. Fantastic and a really classic RWG tread! Reaching the top or not, Hiker01! You have really had some amazing trips! And thanks for sharing the memories with us!!! ME
  14. Nice, Panerai153. One of the advantages for Omega PO is that you will have the possibilities to display three timezones at the same time. One with the GMT hand and one with the rotating beazle. If you are working together with colleagues in different timezones that is a great advantage! (Or just for fun). I am having that need in my daily work and can see the pleasure of having the time at the wrist instead of several clocks at the desktop! Any way the GMT is a nice feature and it gives the watch a nice look! 8-)
  15. No doubt! For a budget of 9K I would go for the new Omega PO! Then you will also get the Co Axial movement. That is cool to have! In House Movement from Omega! Good luck! ME
