  1. Yesterday I was gifted a Breitling watch by the owner of a company I've been working the last month (they bought a company from our company and I was sent to them to implement the customers, products and IT)

Can anybody tell me where to have it restored by a Replica WIS (EU based) , the minute hand needs to be relumed, service of the movement and a polish.

Breitling will charge me 400 Euro for it and that's almost the value of the complete watch while it is a simple 2892 (7).

Does anybody know a EU based "The Zigmeister"

    Thanks in advance

  2. Hello everybody ,

I am looking for the (almost) perfect (1)18206 with the ice-blue or grey dial.

I understand the weight is the biggest flaw but it needs to :

    - Change day and date instantly

    - Swiss Movement absolutely preferred, birdirectional winding

    - Perfect rehaut , the 18206 option is because of the rehaut

Can somebody point me into the right direction of a EU based dealer.

    And also...show yours!!!!

  3. Hello everybody,

Where could I buy a 20/20 Breitling black leather bracelet, croco white stitching preferred ?

Deployant clasp would be nice but must be perfect stamped then, the also the 18/20 option would be there.

Today at the AD , a whopping 280 euro for the bracelet and another 260 for the deployant clasp. They're something like nuts....

    - An unserviced 90's chronomat is about total loss when not serviced and in need of a new bracelet.

    - For this ammount you can get a brand new Rolex SS bracelet

Could somebody please advise me ?

    Thanks in advance

  4. Hello everybody,

Today a guy came in the shop and he looked at my watch and he said : I'm selling them"", I took a good look at it and decided to buy one.

Took some pictures of both, look at the difference but also the quality of the replica.

    Most significant differences :

Rehaut on the rep is not 90 degrees on the dial

Bezel is slight different, just a few degrees

    Different markings on the clasp

Crown on clasp sharper on the rep

    Real good feel and weight

What do you guys think ?

    Thankx Jack

  5. Thank you. I took alot off from the case sides near the crown to slim and make them a bit pointier.

    Damn Pug,

    I love that watch!

I'm not an expert, in hand I can tell whether it is real or not, but from pictures (except the "$25 Pattaya rubbish'') I can't tell the difference. Offcourse a lot of the watches around here are 99'rs. I like your watches and especially the SD is really nice. I don't care when a watch is perfect, I just have to like it or not. I propably would've like the watch before modify.

  6. Were you born with a stick up your ass, or was it acquired at some point post utero?

    Hey dude,

I'm rather new to this Forum but I wouldn't talk to these guys like this, normally everybody will try to answer your question with honest and technically well based answers (Mr. The Zigmeister is the man)

Don't treat this guys like this, they don't deserve it. They can be your guide to buy a nice watch and even get it tuned up to high quality standards and then if you post pictures they enjoy it and give you positive critisism and help you to make it already better then it is.

    I'd sorry

  7. Cool old watch with a excellent old school movement, isn't that called a "Lepine"' movement ? In Switzerland they use such watches on "Ecoles des Horlogerie" (offcourse if available and affordable) they completely "Frank" it as a schoolproject during the complete education, when it's finished with new casing etc. it can be made Geneva Seal, highest standards of quality. A lot of amazing old movements, Brequet/Venus/Patek/Gruen/Blancpain, are put in these so called "School Watches"

If you are selling it mail it to such a school where it can be set for sale on a message board, then it will be renewed, they'll keep you up about progress, afterwards these watches become saught after by movement and perfection freaks but their almost never for sale because of the simple fact that it is the watchmakers' first self made watch.

Naaw... forget selling and be the proud owner of an Patek.

    Jack
