  1. Hello, long time no post.  I was browsing bergies, im looking for  some shoes, wallets etc.  I have seen that the prices have increased, now everything is pretty much $100 plus, and 1:1 have the price of the gen item on a black friday.  Is the manufacturing these days that good, or is it just a demand thing?  Tell me your experiences with items bought.

i have bought a hermes H belt and dunhill belt from berg about 3-4 years ago for less than the price now, and hermes quality was good, although that belt is no rocket science, yet the dunhill was good, but very delicate, the buckle poorly holds the strap.

  2. ^^^^totally,

what pisses me off is that his tone is trying to make him appear as an elite watch enthusiast collector.  He is possibly a column writer for a big name mag who can barely afford most of the gens he proudly protects and desires.

  3. ok, this is leaning its way to some good ol' food porn quickie

    I'm a luxury wrist-watch expert]

You are a luxury wrist-watch douche!

The guy just thinks that if you cant afford a real pam, then you are just a low life low class chum.  Ignorance to him, that curiously enough rich heirs and wealthy people actually have few gens and plenty of NY or internet reps.  The reality to them these days is that watches and watch brands are just a fashion clique.  Today they show up with a new hublot, next year they have a new rolex, new pam, whatever the trend is.  Same as designer clothing, shoes, purses...  Why spends thousands on the latest models, when in a year, new models, new designs rise above?

  5. I know plenty of reps are being made with 316L steel or 316F.  I was eye shopping the other day and looking for a belly ring for a lady friend, and i noticed all the rings said "316L Surgical Steel".  I bet most people dont know jack about steel grades, but i have read a bit and know plenty of my rep pals know a thing or two about all sords of steel used on reps and in general.  Anyways, im 50/50 on wether the 316L is actually surgical grade steel or is it a misleading ad, just saying that the 316L steel is safe and clean for piercings.   What do you think?  Any rep geeks  know a thing or two about steel?

  6. If its a nice steak, i seal side and side with lid open on high heat or bottom grill, the place the meat on low heat or top grill with lid closed.

IMO closed will cook better inside and will take all the smoke/wood/carbon flavor in.

  7. Satisfied Customers - Guaranteed

We know how important it is to maintain a good reputation in this business; it’s been our number one priority since the beginning. We take an exceptional level of pride in our products, from the design to the manufacture. We guarantee every customer of ours will be satisfied with the purchase they make.

when guarantee does not say anything about refunds, days of satisfaction or money back, its a SCAM!!!

even if it says soo too, its also a scam.

just trust the sites in this forum  ;)  you wont feel so alone making the buy

  8. i think 1% is the rep factor (authenticity, craftmanship, detail to quality) all that in consideration and i bump to a 10%.   Once vacc or other modders make some quality work details or even mods, then i think you got a 95% gen, never 100%.

i have bought many reps of all quality and prices, and the question i always have is "what problem will this rep come with?"

I have bought many gens of all quality and prices, and the question i always have is "when will i have a problem with this watch?"

    on gens... never

  9. im on the same page with rolex.  Takes away some prestige and rareness when a luxury brand can be found on a wholesalers big story, makes the brand a second name in any industry.  Same has happened with lacoste, hugo, CK, and many other brands that are now considered ordinary.
