  1. Alternatively you could send it up to Scotland. You know us wild folk North of the Wall always like pressies from the posh Lannisters our Southern friends
  2. Truly a timeless classic. A Patek in such fine condition is a watch for life (or many lives). Thanks for sharing and more pics please!
  3. Congrats on picking up the EL Fiddy, it's an amazing looking watch! I've got a 372 wearing a darker coloured strap with natural coloured stitching which works fairly well.
  4. It looks amazing, thanks for all your hard work Mark! Sent a donation through just there
  5. Great pictures and review David, thanks for sharing One can certainly see that it's worth getting the gen bracelet as the differences are fairly noticeable, especially in the clasp. Wear the watch with pride my friend, it looks gorgeous
  6. Thanks David. That's a great price. In my hunts I see that the Super Avenger bracelets are both plentiful and reasonably priced however the 22mm ones are few and far between and fairly pricey when I do find one I'll keep looking. Please post some pictures of the watch with the new bracelet once it arrives
  7. I think you made the right decision. Hope it fits for you. Does anyone know if it's possible to source one from an AD? Would they even entertain a bracelet purchase and if so, what kind of cost should I be prepared to pay?
  8. Thanks for sharing this mate, it's great!
  9. Thanks Pete, will check that out right now! That was what I kept coming back to as well and the cost for a gen bracelet was prohibitive. Hopefully I can find something as that rep clasp is the only real let down of an otherwise superb watch!
  10. I am considering doing this very thing but having a heck of a time trying to source a gen clasp. Any ideas where one could be sourced from as eBay has resulted in much head scratching with no results.
  11. Oh! That was incredibly lucky that you found that in time. I've always lived a little vicariously following Monty Python's outlook, "That wouldn't 'Voom!' if you put 4,000 volts through it: It's bleeding demised!"
  12. Got this from Deckard today and am really liking it
  13. A very Happy Birthday to you Martijn! Hope you have a great day and a great year! Love the Hublot and Modalo watch winder. Two superb presents. Enjoy
  14. Tudor sponsoring what could become the best sports car racing series in North America.
  15. Looks very nice! It's a shame that the insert had to be trimmed to fit over the crystal however the end result is still a beautiful watch
  16. Looks very nice! Thank you for the time and effort you're putting-in.
  17. Superb comparison and pictures! Thank you for sharing
