I have no problem with Vac either, maybe it is something inherent with the low beat movement?

I have a similar problem with a Vac modified AP low beat movement. Seems erratic in its behaviour. On the winder it gains 10+ minutes a day. Wearing it, I have had various results.

If I have had a day with not much movement it will gain about 10 to 20 seconds. If it's a day with a lot of movement it will be in the minutes.

Seems like the more charged it is, the faster it runs.

Anyone ever experienced this before?

Sometimes eBay do nothing. I reported one a few months ago. Fake Pam. Ended up going for $2500.

If any of the bidders bothered to google the serial number on the back of the watch, they would have seen the same one for sale on a dozen other sites for $300.

Great job. Giving me the inspiration to try make my own. Just ordered a bunch of tools from eBay.

Hello gents. I have been lurking for a while using this excellent forum as a research tool into rep watches and thought it was about time I joined and gave kudos to everyone in here that makes this such a great place.

Not sure how many Aussies we have on here, but we now have one more.

I am still learning about watches and own mainly gens, but I have this uncontrollable obsession for Panerai's.

Knowing I could never afford a gen, I started looking at reps, which led me here etc.....

Anyway, enough rambling, off to do some more research.

I have read these things ... for years and years ... and I can never help thinking, "What must it be like to make a living as a dealer?"  If I had to deal with these disputes all the time, I'd set my hair on fire and run screaming into the woods!

Agree with you. Any business accepting PayPal has to go through this. Unfortunately you can't teach people common sense.
