A small update :
I received the case set from Justin last week. It’s even nicer in person. Thanks again J. It was a pleasure working with you on this special build. The bezel turned out great and looks better than in the pics. Neither of us were overly fond of the 6350 specific bezel. But I wanted to take this build one step above the others I’ve seen and go with an early production bezel with domed crystal
Received my hands and crown from Raffles yesterday. Just as a point of interest. The raffles BREVET + crowns that they offer fit the stock tube that is on these cases.
Spent some time shaping it. Still needs a bit more work to look right but happy it fit
Waiting on my dial. I hope to receive it in the next week or two and then we can get this thing together.
Stay tuned

Were you able to find a waffle dial? Who’s got the sauce on the high quality waffle dial reps?

I’m trying to post in WTB and For Sale. I’ve been on the forums since like 2012, but I don’t post much or at all. I usually just buy watches, but I’m trying to find a top end 1675 and need to sell a JF 16610LN and TC internals to find the purchase.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkOh, and even after the introduction I still was unable to post in those two threads. Any suggestions?

Who’s the best person to request a high quality 1675/16750 build? It doesn’t necessarily have to be a Franken, so casework for the CGs is acceptable if not encouraged. I’m historically a sub guy, but the Pepsi with the jubilee bracelet just speaks to me haha. What are some other tips to help a sub guy get used to the GMT, too? Anything I want to be mindful of to make sure there are no dead-giveaways?

Who did the work and how did they deal with the cutout at 7pm , Tickelshoes did mine
I just had a friend of mine put it in, and it seemed to work pretty much fine without much work in the first place. He didn’t do much to make the 3135 fit other than putting a thicker o-ring in the case. Right now I’m working on modding TC’s dial so I can use that one with the 3135 and not another one

TC V7X LV with YUKI 3135 and gen auto wind module. Gen crystal, Gen DW, Gen Hands, Gen crown on WSO gen spec tube which will not fit this case without modification. The TC V7X is great in every way except for the internal design which is totally stupid as it makes it near impossible to install a gen or Yuki movement. There are two cutouts on the inside of the case near 7 and 2 which are where the mounting screws go for the movement, a genuine case has one cutout at 9. It's almost as if someone intentionally made this case so a gen movement would not fit. However a very good watchmaker can make it fit.
Just had the same movement dropped in to mine! It feels good to know it’s no longer the ETA clone!

I'm from Texas, love reps, good to be here

That's already super helpful!
I'm meeting with a local watchmaker in a couple days and he's going to teach me a thing or two. He probably has a huge list of sources to buy from.
In the meantime, more info/advice/general Rolex and Omega knowledge would be great!

I'm new here but I'm not new to reps. I've been buying reps for the past few years but now I want to start putting them together myself. I'm having trouble finding where to get all the parts, mainly the case itself.
Happy to be a part of the forum.

The Daytona with the clone 4130 movement is what you want.
